Christopher would really like a better idea of the layout before going in. He'll lay it out with straw and pebbles on a table, or scratch it on a scrap of leather - whatever he can do to not go into the place blind.
That being said, there might be fighting on the way in, or the way out, so he'll be wanting his warhorse rather than his riding horse.

Hmm, listed gear on character should do. I do not have a horse. So, I guess that my guy is walking. I am set to go. :)

Thelma and Eloise are ready to go. They will carry their full gear list. I didn't even think about a horse, though! Whoops.

Dale is with the others helping to get them all ready. He's sorting the gear in his pack at that point.

That actually works out well. Missing breakfast will make him surly, which could come in handy if he needs to look tough. :)

(Sorry for the clumsy link, I don't seem to be able to replace all the text with just a word like the other DMs here do.)
Breila -
To get the one-word link, you just have to format the line like so:

Then put in the word you want people to click on You can also add color text to identify it as a link without people having to mouse over it.

Then you get this:

Thanks a lot! I was puzzled why this worked with the invisblecastle links and not with the url button in the editor, and didn't have the time to look at it closely (my daughter is redecorating her room and needs help).

You're welcome.
I've managed to learn a little bit of html from posting on message boards, but just enough to know that there are some really fun things that I don't know how to do yet.

Would you like to know what the swings are for? One hint before I tell you: They're there for essentially the same purpose as the barn owl and the cats...

Interesting... The remains of the grains would indicate that to be true.

You're right, folks. I've seen this age-old principle in a mountain hut where the foodstuffs in the pantry are kept from mice like that.

You have to do something similar when camping in grizzly bear country - you hang your food cooler on a rope, from a tree.
I question the wisdom of this technique, though. The way I see it, that would force the bear to look for something else to eat.
And that is why I don't go camping grizzly bear country.

I'll let the GM roll for the locks this time. I'm not sure how we roll for it. Rawr.
