Fikod happily accepts the pipe from Jerrard, placing it between two sizable molars with the greatest of care. A thin blue curl of smoke drifts from the corner of his slightly-parted lips while he tests the draw. Finding it to his satisfaction he lets a lazy ring roll off of his tongue, which is quickly taken and mistreated by the slightest of breezes in the air. "Pfah! And another thing, too much air up here, and moving every which way. Tis enough to throw a dwarf from the enjoyment of a fine pipe." He scowls, but his eyes twinkle with amusement as he returns the pipe. "Though I must commend you surface-dwellers on yer pipeweed."

"You get used to it," Jerrard says with a smirk, "Yes, Babuskha, you will not go alone, we nearly lost you last time, that won't happen again."

"Imani, I didn't say well done, you are indeed worthy of organisation, very worthy." He smiles, "Thank you."

"Nobody should go alone, we agreed on that" Babushka comments. "And Jerrard is right, Imani, you're indeed very good at organizing our chaotic group."

"Ohhh, no, there's nothing. All is good," Dara says, smiling and nodding.

"I'm afraid I have no alcohol, either," Imani admits to Fikod.

Locky heals up Dara the rest of the way, using her last two healing spells. "Thanks!" Dara says, patting the kender on the head. "Now I'm ready to face anything the centaurs might throw at us."

"All right," Jeremy agrees to Babushka's proposal. "We'll watch each other's backs."

"Thank you," Imani says to Jerrard and Babushka, bowing slightly. "I think we may have just gotten lucky, though; those ogres weren't very organized themselves."

Locky casts Cure Light Wounds (x2) on Dara, restoring (2d8): 8 HP.

"I hope they wont throw anything at us, maybe just food, or even a nice drink for Fikod." She grins, "You are so much more fun than those other boring elves!" Picking through the items she found she flicks the chalk between her fingers, before opening the scroll of paper.

(One of the items she found was a scroll of suggestion, btw)
" Kid never learned to clear a room. Doors and corners, I told him. Doors and corners."

Fikod moves to join Dara and Locky's little circle at the mention of drink, forgetting to scowl in his haste to divine alcohol. "Who is it that be throwing us precious liquor? Had I known centaurs for brewers I may have visited the surface a short step ago." He pats a slightly shrunken gut to emphasize his point. "And I've been missing sturdy tuber and bloat cap stew, wouldnae say no to a pot of such pleasing victuals either."

Locky unfurls the scroll and looks at it, unable to remember where she found it. It isn't in any language she can read, though. In fact, the letters seem to crawl about on the page, giving her a slight headache when she looks at it.

"The centaurs and satyrs do sometimes have strong drink," Dara says. "Feywine, we call it. It's very potent. Often the drinker suffers short-term memory loss afterward--it's that good."

During this conversation, Jeremy and Babushka are circling the camp looking for food and, particularly, water.

Jeremy and Babushka start an ever-expanding outward perimeter check, in hopes of finding something to eat and drink. A couple of hours later, they come across a small stream with some berries and fruits growing nearby about thirty yards west of the campsite.

==============

Jeremy makes a survival check with Babushka's aid (+2) [21] (1d20): (Automatic Success.) They find some non-poisonous fruit and berries and a bit of water about thirty yards to the west.

Gratefully, Babushka picks the fruit and berries, fills the waterskins with Jeremy's help and brings everything back to camp.

"I wonder what this is...?" Locky ponders, trying for a few monents to understand the words, "I think someone gave it to me..." Dropping it in Jerrards lap, she sits down close by.

"Magic my dear, this is magic, where did you get it?" He asks, recognsing the language, but not the spell...

"Oh, I remember, see there was this wizard, and he gave me it for safe keeping, it must have got lost in my pouch." She says happily.
" Kid never learned to clear a room. Doors and corners, I told him. Doors and corners."

While Jerrard examines the scroll, Babushka and Jeremy return with full waterskins and some fruit and berries. "It's not much," the woodsman says. "But it should supplement what we already have."

Babushka sighs. "Still I hope we find our animals soon - and Malika" she says in an afterthought, with a glance at Jerrard.

"Don't worry," Dara says cheerfully. "We should arrive tomorrow evening, if all goes well."

Jeremy approaches Babushka, carrying the deer hides he took from hunting yesterday. "I was thinking, if you like, when we get to the next village, I can try and make you some new armor. What do you think?"
