Ouragana had tried to talk to Val, asking her about Mist, and would have liked to connect to the mysterious amazon. Now, with Val cold-bloodedly killing Maua, she is so put off that it will take time to get on speaking terms again.

During the campaign, Ouragana tried mostly to interact with Maua, so there was little time to talk to anyone else.

Now, she will have to slowly open again to people. And btw, when Areilon and Ouragana went out to look at the murder site at the mill, they did talk. Or does only talk that has nothing to do with the task at hand counts for XP?

I don't count talking about business (their quest, strategy, etc.) or small talk; just personal conversations.

Jocelyn looks to Noah as the others head up to Areilon's room. "Well, I guess I'm not part of the girl's club," she says to the halfling with a small smirk. "Not that it matters much, I guess. I'm having a hard time connecting to them anyway."

Has she given any indication she wanted to be part of the "Girls club" ? Perhaps she should come and join them, the bonding experience over a pitcher of ale could be good for all of them.

Jocelyn has no way of actually knowing if she was invited up into that room or not. They all went up there and left her behind, so she is pointing out a simple if not sarcastic fact to Noah. She isn't going to intrude upon them, as she just assumes she isn't wanted up there.

Incidentally, you stated Areilon took a few sips from her wine and that was it. Did she finish it off or just leave it at the bar?

Areilon makes a CON check at a -3 penalty (wine) (1d20): 18, fail. Areilon is now slightly intoxicated (+1 morale, -1 INT, -1 WIS, 25% spell failure).

Looks like she's going to be buzzed before she even starts on the ale.

That wasn't a clue; nor was it true. That was a mistake on Jenara's part.

The dried blood Areilon found was, in my words, 'a few days old.'

The previous murder, at that point in time, happened four days prior. Or in other words, a 'few days ago.'

But for some reason, Areilon told the others the blood she found had been fresh.

When I pointed out the discrepancy to her, Jenara admitted she made a mistake and offered to fix the post; but she never did.

So the whole thing about the blood being fresher than it should have been is wrong, unless Areilon was deliberately lying to the others about it. If that's the case, then ignore this whole post, I suppose.
