CH 3: Pulp Adventure!

"Seeing the state of these Dwarves, and the number, I very much doubt talking is an option. We need to fight at least to get attention, we need to get ranged weapons ready and fast." Arei replies, putting her hand on Vals arm for a moment. "We need your eyes."

[HorizonsDream]

"Let's just continue on," Jocelyn says. There was no reason to stay here looking at a bunch of dead dwarves.

[JadedDM]

"I'm inclined to agree," Dalaim says. "They aren't going anywhere for the time being. We can retrieve their bodies on our way back easily enough."

[Noldoli]

"Oren, is there some rights you could carry out? Some way to ensure they pass suitably?" She pauses, "And there appears to be one left, perhaps he can tell us what happened?"

"I'm no cleric an' I ain't much fer words, maybe one of the others would be better?"
Oren looks in disgust at the scene. Seeing so many dead dwarves definitely affected him though he maintained his composure as best he could.

"I'm fer honoring the dead by taking it to thier killers, how bout the rest of ya?

[Breila]

"Yes, we definitely should move on. Find out what is going on here, fight if we must, and get justice for those slain." Ouragana nods, taking half a step forwards, but staying in the middle of the group.

[Nuke]

Turning to Arie a moment, she agrees "I will keep a sharp eye out, and this at the ready." hold up her bow for show. "Let's get going."

[Jenara]

"Agreed, let us move." regaining point she walks on. Patting Val on the shoulder.

Pushing forward, single-line, the party moves through the light jungle. After half an hour of annoyingly pushing plants out of the way, they come across a well-worn trail leading south, to the heart of the island.

It is now 4:30 AM.

[Jenara]

"I assume this is our trail." Arei says, pausing the group at the edge of the plants, she scans the area with her elven sight.

(How wide is the trail, what can she see, and what is the trail made of?)

The trail is around four or five feet wide, Areilon sees nothing else of interest and the trail is not 'made' of anything. It's just a path through the jungle that has been worn down over time from people traveling it.

[Jenara]

Stepping onto the trail, Arei checks her weapon and ushering the others behind her.
(How far from the group is Dahn?)

(Suggest: Arei/Val, Ouragana/Jocelyn, Kohen/Oren.)

"Shall we walk?" She asks.

[HorizonsDream]

"I'm not sure how ruins were found anywhere on this island," Jocelyn mutters. "It is nothing but overgrown plants and jungle so far."

[Jenara]

"Now, perhaps once upon a time it was different? If someone knows something is there they will not give up." she didnt le this at all. "At least we have a path, the best place for an ambush."

[Breila]

"But would you be able to keep going through the jungle and not get lost?" Ouragana asks. "And anyway, it was said that the current inhabitants are living close to the ruins, so the path will lead us there"

(You wrote the path is leading to the centre of the island, where does it come from?)

(OOC: I don't understand your question, Breila. Are you asking where the trail starts? Because the party is at the trail's beginning, if that's the case.)
