[JadedDM]

"Umm...question," Ulster says, raising his hand. "If we free Malika, then we're basically breaking the law, right? So...won't the constables come after us? And won't the first thing they do is close off the docks, so we can't get on a boat? And where are we supposed to hide until the boat sails?"

[Breila]

"Well, there is something Imani may be able to tell us about the laws here" Babushka says and looks at the desert woman. "Is it within the law when someone controls a slave by magic? Because if it is not, the innkeeper may not send the constables after us, because he has done something wrong."

[JadedDM]

"I am not as familiar with this khan's laws as Mehmet's laws," Imani says. "But as far as I know, slavery is perfectly legal here, regardless of how it is enforced. Malika said herself she was bought by the innkeeper, so she is his legal property."

[Breila]

"Hmmm" Babushka says thoughtfully."And what about using magic to force people to give away all their money? Maybe this is something we can exploit. If we prove to people that they haven't given the money out of their free will, but have been enchanted, they might turn against the innkeeper"

[Jerrard]

"Yes we are breaking the law, damn." He puts his head in his hands again, "All my high ideas."

"What if Bab has an idea? We could free her from the curse tonight, BUT we do not act yet." He looks around the group. "Then we let her reveal what the Innkeeper has been doing."

[Jenara]

"I can do that, we book our passage but we don't leave just yet. What Wahid is doing is wrong, we need people to see that, then we can free her, properly?" The Kender comments, perking up.

[JadedDM]

"So when do we put this plan into action?" Ulster asks.

[Jenara]

"Tonight? I have the spells ready, we might as well do it today?" Locky asks, watching Jerrard closely.

[Breila]

"But can we be sure people will get angry at Wahid for using magic to strip them of their money? Is it considered wrong here, or will he just be seen as extra clever? People might turn against us, if they think it's our fault that they can no longer enjoy Mailka's dance. This land is so stange to me, I cannot imagine what reactions people will have." Babushka sounds concerned, if not worried.

[JadedDM]

"I could not guess," Imani says. "This is not the tribe I was born into, nor the tribe I was sold into, but a different tribe altogether. I know we will need proof, because I doubt anyone will take the word of a slave over her master's."

[Jenara]

"And she has a better chance of doing that if she is free, we have to at least guve her the chance to be free of his control. Even if she still is his slave, maybe she could enchant him instead?" Locky grins, she just wanted to get on with it now, all of this talking and planning was making her head hurt.

[Jerrard]

"Agreed, so we believe if we prove what he has been doing, we might stand a chance, it is our best hope." Jerrard asks with a serious frown, "I just want to free her, I don't quite know why, but I do."

[Breila]

"But we shouldn't rush things. First of all, we should ask Malika what she thinks of the plan. She seems a sensible and courageous woman who can keep quiet. Perhaps she has an idea of how we can best prove that Wahid has used magic to get at people's money, and to get them angry at him. If that leads to turmoil, that is our best hope for escape. And perhaps we can find a ship that allows us on board early." Babushka cautions.

[Jenara]

"So we have to stay here longer? That makes me sad, but I will stay if it gets the job done." Locky lowers her head and waits for something else. "They won't want me to visit the boat, unless I dress like a child."

"Can I talk to her? She might listen to me, maybe with Paladines guidance I can get her to help...." Locky asks, looking at her friends.

[Jerrard]

"She might not talk to you, but I can ask Locky." Jerrard gives a look towards Imani, she understood the woman. "Ok so we plan more, I would like to free her as soon as I can, please?"
