Re: CH 3: Trouble Arises
Targin targets the goblin on the right so he can get to Karathos' side before they are cut off from each other and surrounded. "Take a bit o' dwarven steel you mealy mouthed cousin of an orc."

Re: CH 3: Trouble Arises
"I cannot remember how many times Targin has told me to bring the fight to you, I wonder what came over him?" Erastin asks looking on at the two battling the Goblins, "Perhaps we should close in? I will try to split them off." He moves to the opposite side to Galenye still mounted, sword drawn.

Third attack for Karathos:
hits AC 5 for 19 damage
Post for Luna (she just went to bed, I've stirred her up and she's told me this):
Jinali watches intently, saving her spell to help if one of the fighters gets into trouble.

Re: CH 3: Trouble Arises
Unfortunately, Targin is too slow. The goblins quickly surround Karathos from every side and start hacking at him, preventing the dwarf from getting back-to-back with the minotaur. Luckily, the minotaur is just barely able to fend off all of these attacks coming from every which direction. Targin instead singles out a goblin and slams his battle axe's blade into the creature's back, dropping it like a sack of potatoes.
The two casters stay where they are, neither acting. One afraid of hitting her friends, the other saving her arcane power for when she really needs it. Galeneye draws a bead on a goblin's back and fires low, so as to not hit the minotaur instead. It's too low, though, and the arrow never makes it that far.
Karathos continues to swing his two axes, Bonebiter and Heartcleaver, but the goblins are small and nimble. They have little difficultly avoiding the hulking warrior's slow attacks. Finally, the minotaur spots an opening and slams his axe down on one of the goblins, pretty much slicing him into two and splattering his blood and guys in all directions.
At about the same time, Galeneye draws another arrow, adjusts her aim and releases. This time, the arrow sinks right between the goblin's shoulder blades, punching right through its leather armor. The goblin drops to his knees, then collapses.

Re: CH 3: Trouble Arises
Exited by the battle, Karathos looks for a new enemy and attacks goblin 6.
INIT 3, both axes hit for a total of 30...
(ooc: this time, no other target is in easy range, is it possible, when two enemies are very close, to attack both in one round?)

"Move in, it looks like our friends need aid. They should not have rushed off so foolishly I will cover your approach." Riding closer he brings his blade above his head.
"Foolish Goblins." He shouts as a he approaches, swinging his blade at Goblin 6.

Init: 4, Hit AC 10, 3 damage (but what are the modifiers for fighting on Horseback?)

Re: CH 3: Trouble Arises
Moving right and turning around, Targin once again swings his axe. "Die you mutton f'r"
OCC #4 this round...And why over do it, they haven't hit us yet....and it is in character, given the historical animosity of dwarves and goblins.
perhaps I will get a password reset on IC to roll on monday, but go ahead if you want Jaded.

Erastin rides forward, his blade at the ready. As he rides by one goblin, he takes a swing, but underestimates how short they are. The goblin easily ducks, avoiding the sword.
Meanwhile, Karathos splatters another goblin all over the ground while Targin manages to take down another one. There are only two left, but they seem to blinded by the sunlight to realize this, and so continue fighting.

Almost lazily, Karathos turns around to goblin 8. "You don't have enough yet, do you?" he asks as he swings his axes again.

Targin cannot help himself and raises his axe up high to bring it down on the head of the goblin (#2) sideways. (subdue damage)
to hit with -4 included. (1d20-1=11) (miss I think, by one)

Galenye looks rather annoyed as everyone rushes forward towards this goblins. Though, she takes aim at the last goblin, hoping to be able to at least hit this one before it is down for the count.

Jinali thinks about helping them with magic, but it looks like her friends has the Goblins well under they're control, so she only keep her spell ready, if they're getting in trubble.
I am NOT sweet!
