The two lapse into silence as the battle continues, conserving their strength as they block attack after attack.

=============

Initiative Order
Erastin (1d10+5): 9
Geffin (1d10+5): 12

Round 9!

Erastin attacks (13, miss).
Geffin counterattacks (1d20): 14, miss.

(Actions for Round 10? I think this should be the last one, one way or the other.)

After the two exchange blows again, neither getting the advantage, McKennen finally steps forward. "Alright, that'll do," he says, holding his hands out for them to stop. Geffin nods, salutes, and lowers his weapon.

Looking around, Erastin realizes he and Geffin were the last two standing. "Let's break for lunch," McKennen says. "You can take off your helmets, but keep your armor on. We're getting right back to it as soon as lunch is over."

A pair of servants arrive with some food carts for lunch. The food is mostly roasted chicken, which smells delicious after such an extended workout.

"You have half an hour, I suggest you all make the most of it," McKennen says.

==========

Initiative Order
Erastin (1d10+5): 7
Geffin (1d10+5): 9

Round 10!

Erastin attacks (13, miss).
Geffin counterattacks (1d20): 8, miss.

End battle.

It is now 12:15 PM (Highwatch).

"Not too much and don't forget to drink up." Targin yells as he looks around for food and drink himself.

"Well done, my friend!" Karathos shouts when the battle is over. "That was a duel many could learn from!"

Like Targin, he looks for food when lunch break is called, then asks Galeyne, Jinali and Selowen: "What should I bring you, my ladies?"

"Huh?" Galenye asks as if she was just waking up. "Oh, I guess it is lunch time then. Whatever they got. I'm not too picky here," she says as she stands to stretch.

"Its very kind that you offer us that, but I have no idea what is for food here. For that, I'll come with you."

Karathos gestures towards the exit of the spectator's ranks and says: "After you then, Jinali. Galeyne, Selowen, we'll bring you something."

Side by side, the two friends go looking for lunch.

Raising his own weapon in a salute Erastlin lowers the weapon and pulls off his helm.

"That was an impressive display, please I would be honored if you came and met my friends." Erastlin grins at Geffin, "Please."

If he accepts he walks him over to Galeyne and Selowen. "Galeyne, Selowen, this is Geffin uth Wistan." He smiles.

Targin follows the minotaur to locate some food, his hunger not striking in earnest as the night before has begun to wear off.

Geffin removes his helm. He's a handsome lad with black hair slicked back and a wispy mustache that was still coming in. He has a disconcerting look at being introduced to Erastin's strange friends, but does not refuse--that would be impolite.

"How do you do, miss," he says politely to Galeneye, bowing his head slightly.

(OOC: Remember, Selowen isn't here. I left her in her room, so I wouldn't have to NPC her. And seeing how Gaia hasn't logged in since December 4th and hasn't communicated with me in any way since October, I doubt she'll ever show up.)

(OOC: Yeah, like I said, roasted chicken, and probably some other things, too, like veggies, bread and cheese, and more of that jello.)
