The Brink [of Madness] Act 1, Scene 1

A classic 2e Puzzle dungeon for High Level characters
Beware, this one is substantially longer and (IMHO) even harder than the legendary Tomb of Horrors!

[Nice]

Jack presses the torch, and the bubble bends farther before it suddenly springs back to absorb the torch. Jack has to move quickly to prevent the membrane from making contact with his hand, but he manages to avoid it. The torch rolls to the bottom of the blood-bubble and simply sits there, inert...

[[Is Jack's torch below the level of the wall of force?

As I currently understand it, the wall of force is roughly at the 'equator' of the sphere of blood.]]

[It's not the equator, more like the bottom 1/4. But sure, the torch is below that level now

The plan was only to go over everything that the group already covered. To see if there were changes with the tattoo.
Not interested in creating a Death Part like the Imp wanted lol

<<Ready to return to camp then?>>

Stephen summons his will, visualizing his view of the room with the giant hands and the space outside his tent.
Wormhole Power Check (Int-2=17)[1d20]=19 - failure
<<Hold on, let me try that again>>
Wormhole Power Check (Int-2=17)[1d20]=11

Steve spent 18 PSPs failing to open and then 36 actually opening the wormhole.

The lighting inside the ‘hands’ room changes as the light from the afternoon in the camp streams in through a ten-foot square portal against one of the walls.

<Come on through,>Stephen says to Jack and Landro. <We can discuss our next options as a group. And don’t forget to bring Master Jagrinder with you!>

"Let's go Jag, we have a portal to camp here!" Jack yells up to him.

Everyone should return.

Landro nods, covering the rear as Jack and Jag make their way through the portal back to camp. Landro and Binky slip through after and the Firbolg watches the wormhole opening until it is closed by Steve.

Well, no news is good news some say. There didn't seem to be much different from before, though I am a little troubled that the troll bodies were recovered by something... he muses aloud to those nearby

There was a seemingly magical darkness below the 'blood-bubble'
