Act 3 Scene 1: Arrivals and Leavetakings

[Jenara]

"Stay close." She whispers to.Sabrina as she draws the Iron Short sword. "Weapons." She orders, spinning the blade in her hand to ready herself.

"Indeed My Lady." Karl braces for an attack, making a soft prayer to Paladine.

[Nocturno]

Pyros will definitely be drawn to the noise. Speeding up towards it.

[TristenC]

Sir Karl and Mira draw their weapons, Gregor follows suit as does Elsa. Pyros, either not caring or not hearing runs off ahead, and he is the first to see a humanoid figure in the mists carrying a bloodied polearm...

[Jenara]

A stocky human male, dressed in shiny armour stands with a bright blade in one hand, a painted shield with a Rampant Griffin emblazoned on the front. He glances forward with a stern expression.

Behind him stands a red headed woman, she stands firm at just under six feet tall and reasonably slim with curves in the right places. Her red hair sits just below her shoulders and is usually loose, or held back with a simple silver comb (her only jewellery). Intelligence is obvious in her jade green eyes, which are framed with dark lashes. Her figure is obvious in the brown leather bodice and breeches.

An old short sword resting easily in her palm. She holds a blonde woman's hand tightly with the other.

[Styrius]

Kybalion views the party move into view. He is readied with his glaive-guisarme in ready position should any group members charge at him. “It is better that you drop the pretense and show your true forms foul beasts! Your compatriot has fled like the cowardly dog that it is! Take note, your fiendish hound friend will surely die from the grievous wounds I dealt it! Surrender yourselves to the town guard at once!”
What the group sees is Kybalion's appearance is one of a taller than average human (6’4”)with sandy blondish hair and medium length full beard. He is muscular and can have a commanding presence when he wants to. He has worked hard surviving on the outskirts of Silverymoon in the Forgotten Realms. The hard work has chiselled his body into a work of art that he is rather fond of. He will work to defend those in need of aid to the best of his ability. The ladies tend to notice his long flowing hair and larger than average "protective piece" of his loins. There is some broken chain mail from the recent fight in which he was engaged. His head keeps looking around as if he is expecting attack from any and all directions.
“Where in the blazes is the rest of the town guard?” He utters at anyone and no one in particular.

[Jenara]

"Oh good." The Redhead Sighs. "Another one." She keeps.her blade drawn but relaxes the grip. "Do we have a story for you..first thing however, we get off the street." She shakes her head, wondering if the gods in this place actually hate her..

"Welcome to Skald,. wherever you were from, You aren't there anymore." She turns to the Blonde.."Il vient d'un autre pays." She explains in a musical language that almost sounds Elven.

"Is he from the same place as you?" She asks Jerry as they prepare to move..

[Jenara]

"Foul Beast? I am a Knight of Solomnia, sworn to protect the weak and powerless. Foul Beast indeed!" The armoured man calls out in common, his accent thick, "Lady Mira we should resume our journey. He can join us it he wishes, perhaps safety will soften his mood."

[Styrius]

Kybalion looks at the group of newcomers to the scene and doing his best to keep utter confusion from showing through. “Another one? What do you mean? Speak true! I have never heard of this “Solomnia” you refer to. Who is it liege lord? How far is this “Skald” from Silverymoon?”

[Jenara]

"A long long way away I fear. You have found yourself in what some would consider a nightmare. Look, we don't have time to tarry. Whatever you fought will be back, and I suspect with greater numbers." Sighing she moves to leave.

"Come and I'll explain, or stay here and become a Beast. the choice is yours."

[Nocturno]

Pyros will slowly move around behind the new comer.

"HULLO!" Then if allowed he will walk up and slap him on the back. Letting his Kender fingers do their thing.

[Styrius]

Kybalion already on edge from the fight and accustomed to encountering the seedier side of life, wheels around bringing the blade level with the neck of the thief that announced his presence. “Keep your hands to yourself if you wish to keep them urchin” he shouts with authority of a townsguard.

[TristenC]

Silverymoon? One of the party, a blonde half-elven woman in robes and bearing a morningstar. Easy... easy... I am from Waterdeep, not so far to the Southwest from the Silver marches. Believe me when I say, there is much more than mere distance separating us from our homes. She brings forth her holy symbol, a pattern of 8 starts surrounding a red mist. My name is Jerry, and I am a priestess of Mystra. We are looking for a way home, but there are many hazards in the night... Please, join us to the tavern just up the road. We can answer more questions there.

Among the group also is a half-elven man with dark hair in robes, a white-haired elf with a raven on his shoulder, two warriors (a man and woman) decked out in weapons and furs with the look of professiknal fighters to them, a pretty blonde halfling woman with a shield and mace, and a human man with a broadsword in leathers.

[Nocturno]

"Erm, well yes. Hullo all the same. Are you wounded?"

[Styrius]

“If I am, ‘tis but a scratch” his voice less loud. Upon hearing the name “Mystra” he puts distance between himself and the odd halfling and listens intently to what the lady says. He suddenly discerns he is fighting on more than one front. Keeping the overly handsy halfling at MORE than arms length, some sort of monsters and this group of armed citizens with some attractive ladies that might need his attention. “If you truly are what you say you are Priestess, I would aid you in your endeavors. Is this footpad with you or no?”

[TristenC]

The priestess smiles wanly, He, Pyros, is mostly harmless though he suffers from uncontrollable curiosity. She says, patting her pockets. Pyros, have you seen my spell components pouch lately? she asks with an amused smirk.

But Lady Mira is right, she nods in the direction of the redheaded bard. We should be off these streets and out of the night quickly. I swear by Mystra: Lady of Mysteries and Mother of all Magic that you've nothing to fear from us so long as you mean us no harm. Please, come with us to the inn, we can speak there.
