Act 3 Scene 1: Arrivals and Leavetakings

Del's eyes narrow at the comment but she doesn't say anything. SIghing she takes a deep breath, exhaling slowly.

"Um I don't drink, I like a clear head, but erm... thanks? It is much apreciated that you think I do look like a drunk ......Although if your

drunken paramour beat you to a bloody pulp, you would know where I am coming from, wouldn't you?"

Del finishes her meal and stands up. "Excuse me I am going to go visit the town. Have a wonderful day."

Walking over to the bartender making arrangements for another night , she grabs her gear and heads out, planning to explore the town.

[Jenara]

Sabrina (who had made the comment) looks genuinely crestfallen, she had tried to enter Miras world and had upset someone. Mira squeezes her arm but she stands and heads back upstairs the Bard making her excuses as she follows.

"I will follow Lady Del and explain." Karl also stands following the new woman, to protect her and to explain if he could.

Jerry, embarrassed, says nothing.

Esker Manyblades

Gulps down his breakfast as well as his tea, relishing the burning taste of the hot tea going down and warming his throat and stomach. He is surprised at the exchange and certainly had not seen it coming considering the light tone of the conversation. But then, even mild words can be abrasive to one feeling raw from recent events. Considering the dreams he had, he wonders if others were so troubled. Perhaps even the lady more so. He downs the last of his tea and calls to Sir Karl, "I'll come with you, if you don't mind." Hurrying after so quickly he forgetfully still clutches a slice of bacon in hand.

[Gregor]

Gregor returns to the inn in time to see a number of the group leaving for their own morning excursions. With only a slight hesitation before stopping at the bar to order a morning ale, he quietly joins the group (Jerry, Sabrina, Mira, Pyro, Iscind, Cross, Merrick, Elsa?) at their table. Well it seems you spoke the truth, he begins. This is no where I was before. Pausing, he takes a deep draft from his mug peering over the lip at the Kender and then continues. I heard you talking about a return. I enjoy new exploring so ain't that ready to leave unless I was the only one left. Is everyone leaving then?

Other thing is coin. I didn't show up 'ere with the family fortune, Gregor pauses again for a quiet snicker at his last remark and another draft from his ale. How have the lot of you been surviving here?

"Well, you know, Gregor, we've done that by working together and caring for each other," answers Jerry.

If so, Jerry asks if she can have 175gps worth..

(Ooc: Mira and Sabrina have left the table but will rejoin shortly.)

Gregor grins slyly and winks at Jerry. Thanks Mom but can we do without the sermon today? I'm not feeling well, he states with a look of mock seriousness and takes another pull from his ale.

Jerry pauses, leans forwards, weight shifting to her feet, eyes totally on Gregor. "Lose the attitude, boy! You'll get those around you killed." She stands up and walks off.

[Jenara]

A few moments later (After Del, Karl and Esker have gone) Mira returns (without Sabrina) she gives a sad little smile and shakes her head..

"Jerry, sit down please." She sighs, catching the Elven woman by the shoulder, "The Dreams are...they leave you on edge. Can we just calm down? We are in this together. I think that these nists are bringing us together for a reason. We survived so far through sheer luck. We need help."

"We need to get to know each other, that's for certain. Just . Breathe and.." she looks behind, to where the Blonde lay by herself.

Jerry stiffens when caught but then softens at Mira's words. She hugs Mira and smiles sadly. "Did you hear all that then? I'm not proud of it."
The half-elf sighs a big sigh, "You're right, we need help.It's the 'we' though that worries me. I think the lad doesn't understand that word. For him it's 'I' and 'me'. I pray to Mystra that I be proven wrong."

[Jenara]

"We don't know each other yet, you, I. Elsa, Pyros, Cross.. we've been through fire together and now so has Karl. We have a bond, one that comes with time. They don't know us, we don't have that bond. There is only one way we'll get it. I guess." She gives Jerry a small hug in return and leads her back to the table.

(Mira isn't wise, she just knows people)

Jerry smiles wanly at those still at the table and sits back down next to where Merrick's been sitting.

[Nocturno]

Pyros watches the show, and takes the opportunity to eat some more.

Thinking about the list of names.
Oblivious to the drama going around.
"Do we know anything about the more than 1 of the names. WekilledthisJackquesathisfarmMaybethenamescrossedoffarealsodead! DEAD! Anyonearoundherewecouldtrusttogoaboutaskingaboutthesenames? Eyes wide as saucers.

[Gregor]

Gregor smirks slightly and opens his mouth to reply but the retort dies upon his lips as Mira injects herself into the discussion. Turning his attention to Pyro, I must have missed something. What list are you referring to and who died? And hello by the way. I'm Gregor.
