The 2E AD&D Homebrew Sandbox world of Genwald is large, ancient, and magical. There are many undiscovered/untamed places. The Sun Kingdom (European style, Late Medieval Human NG Monarchy) is the basic Campaign area, but PCs can end up anywhere.
The scars of ancient battles of titanic proportions mark the land. Wild magic zones, fantastical terrain, grand adventure, political strife, and even artifacts of wonder await. Choose your part and come make your mark on the world. A wide array of unconventional races and classes are available.

@ Tristan - We've probably covered this somewhere already but TBH I don't really remember, so:
What is the cost, if any, and the time to copy arcane spells?
(It's fine by me if we're not we bothering with that element of housekeeping.)
Well, by the book it is 1 day per spell level and no listed cost that i could quickly find. But i seem to recall only requiring 1 hour per spell level, so let's use that. And it looks like Linar has ink, quills, and both have plenty of blank pages left.
Don't forget to name the spells in your unseen servant "% chance to learn" roll for each new one
(It was covered in great detail in Hackmaster 4 but frankly it was neither interesting nor dramatic. Just part of Kenzer's parody clause in their license with WotC.)
Yeah, basically. There is probably a spot or two along the road he could fly through also. But from his trip before he would recall:
-a crossroads about 1 day's ride along the road he coild
-a clearing a few miles before bordertown near the bridge
-the area around bordertown is cleared
Of course there is also the massive canyon he could fly over/into
