"He speaks sense." Katten answers, calling out from the pool where she swims with casual ease, "Stealth no good with Bull charging and making noise." She ruffles Drans fur and submerges herself once more.

Jordek moves over to the conversation in progress. Yes, good points. I too am more inclined to the sneaky bits. However, I think it only fair to point out that our two new fellows here, he gestures to Fin and Bullock, are not yet familiar with our typical way of doing things. We didn't really hash out a plan before hand or explain things to them. I agree that not splitting up is the best way to keep us all healthy, and i'm more inclined than most to be stealthy in my approach. I do feel like our fight against the worgs when we laid the ambush went rather well, though. I think if we take the time to coordinate with each other and plan ahead, then we can find a good balance.

Rather than bathing again, Nocturno will fill a cup and drink the water.

While enjoying the relaxing rock he has lighted upon, Findalsip muses aloud: "Perhaps once we have all healed and refreshed ourselves it would bode well for us to identify the things we found in the basilisk lounge" If we are to penetrate any further into he cave we should know what we have and maybe perhaps bring a few more hands with us to deal with those rabid, preverted, foul, good for nothing goblins and their flea infested dogs."

Bull

I need to find some armor. I was not planning to fight dogs and goblinoids when I left me homeland. A breastplate or chainmail for protection and a composite long bow fitting my size would be helpful too. Once I am healed I will follow who ever wishes to return.

Nocturno drinks of the water and some more of his wounds close. After the other discussion dies down a little, Fin poses the idea of getting their items identified.

Linar mentions to the others that he has the spell, but unfortunately at his current level of mastery the chances of learning something are slim and a single attempt is a grueling effort likely to take all day for casting and recovery to glean even enough for one item.

Jordek pipes up as well. Well, we know that magic shop in Bordertown had the spell. Maybe we can ask him or someone there to cast it? They were pretty happy with our freeing the captives and such. And if this would help us take out these goblins and free more i'm sure they'd be inclined to deal with us. It's probably pretty pricey, but we have the Basilisk scales to trade now, and all those gems we found. Maybe we can afford it!

Linar suggests, "Well, Bull, if you need armour, let's go to Bordertown and see what they've got. I think it's unlikely that'll have much that'll fit you, but we might be lucky. Failing which you can tal kto someone there about taking your measurements and making you some. Probably want a down payment though.
"On Identification, I can cast that from a scroll scribed by a more proficient mage. Already knowing the spell makes it easier for me to cast. If we buy one or tow of those, dependent upon costs, and money available.
"Now, Bull, want to compare spellbook? See if we can teach each other anything that we* want to learn?"

Exiting the pool the Cat woman fills her waterskin before pulls the halter and skirt on once more, strapping on her blade and bow she gives them all a curious look. "I go to find friend, you stay here. You leave, never get back. I be back before sun sets." Approaching the Elf she ignores the discissions on Magic. "I am going into the forest, this place is sealed without the key, and I cannot give it to you."

She has no interest in magic or spells, I don't think she took any of the money (Tristen can confirm if she did), so her share is up for grabs to do what with what you will. I don't actually recall what treasure they found..

Looking back, yeah she said she would keep one of the green stones instead of her share of the loot (shiny, portable, pretty)
so we'll say she kept one of the olive-colored peridots worth 500gp instead of her share of 628gp 3sp 3cp

That will result in the remaining 128 gp, 3sp 3cp being split among the 5 others, so an additional 25gp 6sp 6cp will go to the rest with some leftover copper unsplit

Although yearning for additional spells, Linar's desire to help the unusual and exotic Katten is greater. He asks her with gravity in his voice, "If you wish help, and think I can provide it, then such would be my wish and pleasure."

"No help us needed. I go to see a friend of the forest. To my own domain. I go to check on my people." She explains quickly. " learn gobbledygook. It comes in useful. " squeezing his arm she departs silenty. Dran in tow.

Linar smiles after her and then turns back to see if there are any takers for learning arcane spells.

Bullock is the only other Arcane caster, so it is up to Dargon. They each have several spells the other does not.

Also, some may remember that the waters of the glade retain a weaker version of their healing powers for a short time. That was probably why Katten collected some in her waterskin before she left to visit her friend. Essentially it will be able to heal 1d3+1 for a person who has not benefited from the glade pool that day. The potency lasts for up to 24 hrs from the time it is collected. After that, it is simply very clean, pure water.]
