Re: OOC Chat
Are my 8 PP worth 80 or 40 GP?
It depends on the year we are playing in apparently.

Kella is the rogue from the locked room?

Wasn't that the purpose of the potion?Chris1234 wrote:There some movement on the other side of the curtain. The canary is stood up and moves away a little further away from Woody. "Fine. But what's wrong with your voice?"
Re: OOC Chat
Woody can look however he chooses to (up to a foor taller or shorter)*. I'm happy to extent the potion's illusion to include sound, so Woody can sound pretty much however he chooses. Problem being (and I think we touched on this before but wiithout resolution**) that none of you have heard Taffis's voice.
If Woody wants to qualitatively*** describe how he chooses to sound (deep, husky, fast talking or whatever) then that might work (long shot, but possible).

*As per Disguise Self.
**I think we mentioned the possibility of Speak with Dead but disn't pursue it.
***Saying "I want to sound like someone I've never heard" would be like trying to do a bird impression/imitation of a bird that one has never heard.

Re: OOC Chat
Hello Everyone,
New guy. I will be playing Luka, He is currently leaving Waterdeep and on the Trade route South. I have been playing D&D since 1978 when the first AD&D books came out. I played 2E and 3.5 but took a long vacation from D&D and played Warhammer Fantasy for a few years. I have since retired once and started two new careers. I am new to 5E this will be only the 3rd PBP game I have played in the first one dies during the first encounter with an Orc War Band. And the second is on going with out first exploration currently underway in a tower. Hope fully this one goes better than the first. Look forward to starting to understand the new 5E game.
PS- If I screw something up make sure someone tells me so I have the chance to learn the right way. I am a 20 year military retiree so I have an Iron Skin.

Welcome!!

Anyway, please log onto R20 and try again. (I suggest you drop the magnification right down and look at the whole map. I'm using dynamic lighting.) Please let me know how you get on.

Welcome Dragon Lonewolf.
Chris: will you be setting up a roll 20 for the Woody, Jim, and Sue game? Can you put this link in this thread?

Hello and welcome Dargon!
Re: OOC Chat
Dargon you will probably pick up quickly that Counterkid, Squirrely and I all know each other IRL. So if it seems like we are picking on each other a lot.... we probably are.
Re: OOC Chat
Some kind of Map for the Fresh Air game would be great.

Re: OOC Chat
I can see figuring this Advantage and Disadvantage stuff out is going to be a chore.
hello Everyone, I am new to 5E so bear with me. I have been stuck in the past playing 2E for years since it came out. Trying to learn this new one. Gave up when 4th came out, was not a fan. Still giving this one a shot.

Re: OOC Chat
It is worth figuring out, as it is much less brain power over the course of playing, figuring out THAc0s and penalties/bonuses.
