Somewhat slow to react Karl draws the mace from his belt and comes in to strike, the horsemans weapon somewhat slower.

Mace ThaCo 13 [1d20] = 8 [1d6+1] = 5+1 = 6
Hit AC 7.

(I forgot to say he was taking +1 for horsemans mace as part of his level increase, hence the reason the die roll says Thaco 14 not 13)

Seeing the skeletons coming to life, Adran will wait until as many as possible get close together and then he will cast a Web on them - all the while he is in the ready position with his short sword in hand....

Jerry, staring watchfully at one of the rotting corpses across the room, slowly raises her morningstar, ready to strike if it twitches... Pyros continues to make his way around the small chamber, taking an idle swing at one of the chained up skeletons nearby. His strike goes awry, however, when the skeleton suddenly moves and he lets out a startled yelp! Jerry jumps a little despite herself and swings with all of her might at the corpse that also begins moving! The spiked head of her morningstar catches the edge of the stone alcove, spraying chips of rock onto her face!

Adran begins preparing his spell but, seeing the creatures begin to pile out from several other alcoves, bides his time until more are together. Pyros steadies himself on his makeshift crutch and swings again. This time his badly damaged club connects with the undead. Though it appeared to be a glancing blow, the brittle skull splits like torn parchment and the abomination goes down. "Bodies of the damned, be damned!" The call and those of others echoes down the passage to the group below. Cross and Mira scramble quickly up the rope. Elsa begins to ascend, followed closely by Artanis. The halfling, however, is having some difficulty in her armor. Half-way up her boot slips, striking the ranger in the face! He drops from the rope, landing near the wall but not truly harmed.

Merrick whips a stone at one of the skeletons in the back, striking it cleanly in the chest and shattering the sternum and spin in one blow. Through blurry eyes, Jerry takes a second swing at her target but to no avail. One of the skeletons near Pyros flails at the kender with it's metal shackles, bashing him with the heavy iron. The gypsy siblings rush to the aid of their compatriots, but the pair of fighters fail to land a blow. Sir Karl joins the fray, clobbering one of the zombies with his mace. The deed is quickly returned by one of the other walking corpses as the Knight is struck from the side by metal restraints.

The other undead continue to shamble forward, attacking the group. As they all gather in the center, Adran releases his spell. Thick ropes of translucent webbing spring forward from his fingertips, snaring all of the undead creatures in the sticky trap! Jerry, Adrestia and Pytor manage to avoid the worst of it, but the Kender is completely snared in the webbing!

Jerry brandishes an enamelled pendant, a circle* of seven white stars on a blue stars, at the mixed undead and shouts, "Be vanquished, unnatural spawn of evil!"

She maintains the Turning and hopes the others know that attacking a Turned undead will break the turning on that creature.

Seeing that Kender is snared in the web, Adran will move with sword in hand to attempt to help him out of the mess. On his way, Adran will search for a way to go around the skeletons in the web, but will attempt to hit one with his short sword:

Adran to hit skeleton [1d20] = 4, Damage with Short Sword [1d6] = 2

He failed.

(Karl is right next to one of the zombies, so he could strike that one if he chose without going through webs)

When Adran gets to Kender, he will use his shortsword in very precise and slow strokes, almost like cutting a good steak for dinner, and attempt to get him unstuck from the web....unless a better way presents itself.

Adran tries to close with one of the undead, or to free the Kender from the sticky webs, but his allies currently block the narrow entrance to the chamber beyond as they struggle against the abominations. Half-dangling from the webbing, Pyros takes a wild swing at the skeleton beside him. The wooden club makes a loud crack! as it splits the skull like an eggshell. The others nearby begin moving to reach him in a menacing fashion.

Back near the cliff, Elsa and Artanis manage to struggle their way to the top of the ledge where Cross is standing. The white-haired elf moves up behind Adran and fires a trio of magical missiles from his outstretched hand! The bolts each strike a separate zombie; leaving one with severe damage, another injured, and the last with a mere scratch.

Jerry presents her holy symbol and calls upon the power of Mystara Be vanquished, unnatural spawn of evil!" The remaining skeleton and the zombies turn from the Priestess, struggling to flee. The strong webbing, however, prevents them from escaping; though they continue to try. Mira catches a glimpse of the battle from behind the three mages, but with the webs and the tight quarters is unable to reach anyone without magic.

Pytor manages to wrest his hammer from the niche in the wall, but his first swing fails to connect with the last remaining skeleton. Sir Karl [who may have once been named Zann of Bone hill ;) ] strikes a solid blow against the foremost zombie; crushing it's shoulder and detaching the arm! Only by the barest margin does he fail to bring it down completely. Adrestia lances her magical rapier through the prone zombie behind Pyros; after which it lies still.

Pytor swings again at the skeleton, this time catching it's skull between the head of his hammer and the stone wall! A shower of powdered bone and stone explodes into the webbing. Adrestia stabs her magical rapier through the neck of one of the other zombies. With a vicious twist, she all but decapitates the thing as it falls.

The defeated undead all hang like broken marionettes in the webbing, only two badly damaged zombies remaining...
