Mira helps Adrestia up and the pair pick their way carefully across the bone-littered web bridge to safety! Pytor continues to carry Pyros down the tower, nearly making it to the edge. Sir Karl sets Elsa down at her request and the two continue to make their descent. Merrick and Jerry are not far behind, though Artanis continues to struggle with the collapsing stairwell! Cross and Adran make it to the lower platform where the bridge of webbing spans the mist-filled chasm.
Massive fragments of bone continue to rain down on those who have not crossed the pit. The heavy, jagged debris collapse on the diminutive rogue and his human mount. Likewise the falling bones send staggering blows upon the clerics; nearly rendering Jerry and Elsa unconscious! The pair manage to keep moving, though only barely!

"We have to get out of here, after all, I believe I was promised a dance." Karl grasps the halflings hand, moving her in front of him, he uses his larger body to protect her, raising his shield above his head to attempt to defect the falling bones.

Adran and Cross begin to pick their way over the web-bridge, which shakes and ripples from the collapsing tower to which it is still attached. Adran makes a mis-step, his leg sinking up to his knee in the webby mesh. Cross, distracted by his companion's plight, slips his footing and drops to one knee; the shin sticking to the magical platform. Mira turns back, trying to balance on the shaky support to aid the others.
Pytor, still carrying the Kender, steps down to the bottom of the bony stairs at the same moment the base gives a sudden lurch! The blacksmith nearly topples from the platform, his light-fingered cargo in tow, but braces himself against a massive rib bone! Bones tumble down on the pair, knocking Pyros unconscious!!! Luckily, the gypsy-man still has a firm grip on his friend, Don't worry, buddy... I got you...
Jerry stops to heal herself, a near-frantic Merrick beside her. Some of her wounds close, and the pair continue. The rain of bones does not relent, striking them both in the head and shoulders. The two stagger to the edge of the tower, the span of webbing the only remaining barrier to their freedom. Artanis finally makes some progress out of the tower, taking only minor damage from the debris. Across the way, Adrestia finally gets a good look at what is going on. She promptly ties a rope to the stalagmites that held up the original bridge, and tosses the end towards those stuck in the webbing. Grab hold!
Sir Karl and Elsa reach the edge a step ahead of the half-elves; the taller man covering the Cleric with his shield as best he can. Their progress is short-lived as a massive remnant of the crumbling skull plows right through the Knight's guard and driving Elsa to the ground! She lies there, motionless beneath the rubble.
[Pyros is Down, but thankfully Pytor is still carrying him. Elsa is Down also, but she and Sir Karl are at the edge of the Web bridge!]
Adran and Cross are stuck in the webs on the bridge. It will take some strength to pull them free. Since they are not engulfed, they can each attempt a strength check, pulling free on a pass. Anyone with 13 to 17 strength could attempt to pull them free (with a strength check). Anyone over 17 strength could pull them free with an action (no check needed). But Dex checks will still be needed to cross]

When Adran sees Adrestia with the rope, he says Aren't you a sight for sore eyes... Adran grabs a hold of the rope and tries with all of his might to free himself from the webs but is so weary from the previous situation that he cannot. I think I am going to need some help, he says aloud....

Rapidly assessing the situation Karl pushes the rubble aside as rapidly as he can and shifts Elsa into his lap. Reaches for his pack, producing one of the strange clay vials he gingerly removes the wax-coated stopper. Then with a prayer to Kiri-Jolith her parts her pretty lips with his shield hand. "Drink, this will make you feel better." I hope. He thinks but does not add, stroking her throat so the liquid goes down easier.
"We need to find safety. a defensible position." He calls to the others, waiting for Elsa to come around.

"I shouldnt have left them.. I shouldnt have..." Mira curses herself, and thens he see's Elsa fall, her heart sinking. They were right, everyone was right, she was useless, she couldnt use her magic, or even lift a sword, what good was she?

[Apologies for the delays, had a busy weekend away from technology]
The elven mages stuck on the webbed bridge latch on to the rope for dear life and pull with all of their might! Each manages to free themselves from the sticky structure, the rest of the bridge still before them to navigate. Jerry and Merrick begin to cross the bridge, holding hands as they go.
Pytor struggles to maintain his footing as the structure lurches. He tries to steady himself, but with the unconscious Pyros in his arms he begins to topple over the side!!! In a last-ditch effort, he pushes the rogue away from himself; sending the unconscious Kender to the ground of the platform as the gypsy-man falls into the swirling mists!!!
Sir Karl digs one of the clay bottles he found on the dead Draconian what seemed so long ago. Unstoppering the potion, he administers it carefully to the unconscious halfling. Elsa's eyes flutter open, and gradually fix on the Knight's face. A slight blush enters her cheeks and she speaks quietly. I... thank you... sir knight... Just as she begins to rise, more falling bones strike the halfing, sending her back into unconsciousness. Artanis makes some progress and stops to try to drag Pyros towards the exit. A particularly violent shower of rubble tumbles down on the two. I've got you, kid... just let me get you off this crazy ride... errg! If only you didnt carry so much stuff! the ranger grunts.

The elven mages stuck on the webbed bridge latch on to the rope for dear life and pull with all of their might! Each manages to free themselves from the sticky structure, the rest of the bridge still before them to navigate. Jerry and Merrick begin to cross the bridge, holding hands as they go.
Pytor struggles to maintain his footing as the structure lurches. He tries to steady himself, but with the unconscious Pyros in his arms he begins to topple over the side!!! In a last-ditch effort, he pushes the rogue away from himself; sending the unconscious Kender to the ground of the platform as the gypsy-man falls into the swirling mists!!!
Sir Karl digs one of the clay bottles he found on the dead Draconian what seemed so long ago. Unstoppering the potion, he administers it carefully to the unconscious halfling.
