No noises. 40'? If you are stealthing movement will be half, you normally have 80'?

That is a wooden wall, no doors or windows apparent.
Stairs are both.

My bad! I was laziliy assuming the Boots of Elvenkind give Stealth for free (like in 2e) but they dont.
They give advantage when taking the Stealth action.
So GG uses his action* to Stealth as he moves (his Speed) 40' into the house. Would like a minor retcon then, please, for the folks following to count to 12 ather than 6 i.e. so GG has time to stealth to the back of the house before the noisier folks arrive inside.

(*It's not quite the sameas halving Speed as a rogue can Stealth as an action and then move Speed (30' usually) and still use Cunning class ability to Dash as a bonus action. Not sure but that might apply in a similar way to rangers or monks also. )

As GG continues forward he will notice it is deadly silent. As in once Tornak entered and the door came to a close. There was no sound of the party going on next door. And now that Tornak realizes that. He didn't close the door, it clicked shut on it's own. And it is quiet. Quiet as in the grave, not as in silent. While focusing on hearing if there are sounds of others, the two can easily hear their own breathing, heartbeats, and minor scuffling of their shoes.

The physical appearance is that of a normal every day warehouse, but this place is obviously used for something... something else with the type of insulation that would be needed to keep the noise of the party out.

Adrik hears the message from Tornak and tells the others it time to move in. "Let's go lads. Tornak says we are good to go."
Adrik moves in.

The door opens immediately to Tornak's touch. GG advances 25 more feet to reach the end of the hallway. With a quick scan he can make you the rest of the floor.

The folks outside will see the door close, then immediately open again.

Seeing and hearing nothing untoward (no foes, exits or illusions) GG moves back to the stairs with a shake of his head to indicate 'nothing so far'.
He continues moving (Dash) to reach the stairs and go down them.

40' north, 10' (or 15') to reach the stairs, then move down them to explore as far as he can, (up to 30').

Tornak will hold the door open for the other members to enter, holding a long finger up to his lips in a shushing gesture.
