"Foolish Parrtarrrk" Katten howls, the longsword aiming at the creature.
Longsword (ThaCo 18) [1d20] = 8 Damage [1d8+1] = 5+1 = 6
Hit AC 6, so she missed.

[Round 10]
The party surrounds the fanatical chieftan, laying into him with their weapons until he lies bleeding on the rocky floor. A cruel grin spreads across his bloody face, What we wetrocks do when commanded... by... gods... Osssooooonin... riiiise... The last words escape slowly in a long breath that becomes a death rattle, echoing in the suddenly silent cavern...

"Does that sound like he expects to return as a wight or something?" suggests Linar.
Unless stopped, he removes the chieftain's head from its shoulders. "Might slow that down." He utters a Prayer for the Fallen to Corellon to ease the soul's journey across the Fugue Plane.

"That sound like crazy Priest man. He burned arms.. " Katten shudders rubbing Drabs neck and rubbing him softly. "Well done."
"They have reason to think they come back. Some horrible act.." she collects her axe and sets about borrowing at least one more from the Goblins. "We find Prisoners "

"If they think they can come back from death it would seem they have no need to fear death. I suppose any surrender would only be a trap." Jordek sighs sadly and continues "Mercy would seem to be off the table then." Squaring his shoulders he addresses Katten "Find and free them."

Can Nocturno inflect on the wording or words and see if that what he thinks he actually meant? Considering his study of the religious types?

Elden can act as a look out in the rear of the party for now? No combat, just hanging out?

Linar hacks the leader's head off as the group contemplates his last words. The words carry a similar feel to the prophecies spouted by the goblin priests at their own demise. There does not seem to be any indication that they themselves expect to rise; but mentioned their own deaths as perhaps Herald of or sacrifice to their god Osunin...
====
It was basically The Chieftain's equivalent of "what more can creatures like us do when compared to a god? I die. Osunin Rise"
Bone Priest:
Cheer the Bone Priest's bloody demise,
Heralding Great Ossunin's rise!
Blood to feed our thirsting lord,
And welcoming the... coming... horde...
Soot Shaman:
Break ope’ the Bone, Soot blinds the eyes,
Receive my soul, Ossunin rise!
All goblin lives, and orcs and more!
And hail your new, terrific… lord…

Before this outing has Linar heard of Osunin?
Re: Act 1, Scene 4: "Eroding the Wetrocks" (Main Game Thread
"They are trying to bring a Goblin God?" Katten muses, adjusting her clothing without shame she licks the nasty wound to her stomach and chest, spitting out the blood before tearing a strip from her cloak. Using both hands she rapidly ties it around her body then restores her 'modesty', a concept she failed to understand, yet other races did not run wild and free.
"Search them, take things. Then we get them." Rapidly searching those closest she retieves her axe and looks for anything they may carry of use (she wants two more handaxes if they have them)

Re: Act 1, Scene 4: "Eroding the Wetrocks" (Main Game Thread
A quick search of the Dead reveals their pockets full of mostly Trinkets and trash snacks and stones. but some, such as the guards, are carrying bits of coin likely taken from ambushed Travelers and prisoners.
Half of the array of Chain mail that the Goblin guards wear appears to be size for them (or a dwarf, gnoe or halfling) and the rest to fit humans but bunched up to accomodate goblins. It seems likely these were taken off of dead or captured men-at-arms and soldiers traveling the road over the months of Wetrock activity.
There are no less than 5 javelins, 7 hand axes, 4 daggers and 4 short swords that are of decent make by human standards.
====
I can't recall if the party had thought on it before but they have heard the name often enough now. Ossunin has only been mentioned by the wet rocks tribe so far and it is not among the traditional Goblin Pantheon.
In fact, now that there have been several examples, those with religious backgrounds could probably infer that the Goblins are either trying to:
-Summon/create a new god
-hail some ultra-powerful creature as one
-serve an existing deity that wishes to remain anonymous and this has taken a false name

Nocturno has seen his symbol a couple times and found some history on the idea of the summoning of him via hordes coming to power in times of turmoil. At least I think this is this game... lol Im on like 5 here, and have about 5 RL games going too.

Seeing Katten tend to her wounds, Nocturno will offer a CLW.
"May I help with those?"
While others are searching he will use his spell on Katten, and himself.
