next full moon in game time is March 25th, so it will be a few weeks yet. sorry i've been absent this last week, work picked up a lot and i'm moving soon so trying to get a bunch of stuff done. i should be able to catch up late tonight or tomorrow. the shackles pyros has seem to be the ssame kind that were seen on the posts that line the entrance to the canyon (like Pytor wanted for... undisclosed reasons)

For those of you who don't know Dragonlance, any mage over 5th level needs to pass a test, and I would assume that Mira as a Bard would never be able to reach that or do one, actually Bards Don't really exist in the 2e books for DL.

She's reaching a level where if she returned home the mages would hunt her down for uncontrolled use of magic! Thus the "I can never go home" statement. I'm working on the idea that here (where song matters) she has far more power than the moons of DL would allow.

(If you've never read the Spell song Sorcereress by LE Modesitt you should, some of Mira might seem familiar if you do)

She could, but her impression is that she wouldn't be accepted, a poor girl with a poor background, her magic isn't what they are used to and thus she feels she won't belong

Tis called character development, something you all do really well.
We have a player in a game on another site who is .. somewhat bewildered by it all, i actually have a halfing performer, pretending to be a human child and so far no one has worked out she is anything else.
