so usually it takes 1d10 mins for a search, but for searches of really plain (non decorative) areas i usually leyt it go a little quicker. I'll say in this instace that if Pyros continues searching and walking, the whole group wil be able to squeeze into the passage/statue behind him by the end of this round

That sounds fair. I dont think the step skipping would work for the wee rogue like Chris' did in the Lab game.

lol. that worked for him because he got lucky and the module described 1 specific step. i usually trap a section, not a single step :satan:

It just means it isnt a language he knows. he can certainly try to decipher it, but remember the thief skill only imparts understanding equivalent to his chance to read it. Meaning if he has a 5% chance and passes, he -still- only gets 5% of the message. That of course presumes it is anything he has had a chance to encounter in the first place. And this is definitely not Harmonian.

I know, why don't we ask the Bard with say.. oh 60% read languages? The one that has almost learnt a new language while she's been here.. just saying.

Cause he is a Kender, and will probably lose interest before we actually read it lol.

I mean those pots with the designs, look pretty interesting too.

Wait? Is someone checking out my wife's Jugs? How very rude.

So I thought I'd add to your roster, help Tristen by taking the front line. I'm looking to play a Knight of the Sword.
