Pyros bashes his club against the hard baked adobe, chipping away at it. Taking a closer look at his Club he realizes the golden studs have become quite badly damaged after the protracted battle. While the weapon still works, the precious metals are beginning to flatten and come loose from the weapon...

====
Pyros bashes at the statue with his golden club!
Statue save vs crush, dmg [1d20] = 7, [1d6] = 4
Save Failed! The statue sustains the full 4 damage

The gold parts of the club are essentially broken. It still functions as a club but not a special one until it is repaired by a skilled blacksmith

Jerry casts Cure Medium Wounds [1d10+2]=3
Pytor is healed for 3 hps and upgraded to Barely Scrathed [27/32]

Mira moves slower, assisting those that need help to climb before climbing up herself.

"What the, I guess I better not use this." He will pull any loose chunks out and pocket those. Then stow the club. He will start to pick at it with his dagger.

Adrestia, Adran and Artais ascend to the 3rd tier (just below the statue) and keep watch. Elsa stays near the rope leading up to the top. Pyros and Jerry chip away at the statue, making some progress...

[is anyone else doing anything whike they chip away at the statue?]
===
Statue Save Pyros, Jerry [1d20] = 19,[1d20] = 16
1 pass (half dmg) = 2 from dagger
1 fail (full dmg) = 3 from mace

Statue sustains 5 more damage, accumulated 23 dmg

Mira moves up to the top, of the tower, her hands on the crossbow as she notches a bolt, ready to shoot.

(Sorry, been run down the last day or so.)

Pytor offers Jerry up a protest of unnecessity sufficient to satisfy his people's sense of honor. However, the gypsy complies to the priestess' request to remain motionless and otherwise seems to enjoy her care.
After she finishes, he stretches his arm and tets his range of movement. "My thanks, Lady Jerry. May your compassion always match your charm and beauty."

Pytor assists in boosting the less skilled climbers up to the next level before climbing up himself. He makes a point to gather the rope up behind him as he goes. He repeats the process on each level until reaching the zenith.

Upon reaching the top he looks at Pyros and the others with something akin to horror on his face. "What are you doing! Stop! Stop at once! Do you not realize the sweat and heart that a forger must have cast into crafting such weapons? Use a proper tool or stand back, but do not dull or flatten such a work of art upon brick or stone!"

Somewhat angrily, Pytor pulls his normal warhammer from it's strap and walks up to the statue.

specialized with warhammer three attacks per two rounds
warhammer THAC0 14 [1d20] = 10 damage [1d4+6] = 3+6 = 9
warhammer THAC0 14 [1d20] = 2 damage [1d4+6] = 3+6 = 9
warhammer THAC0 14 [1d20] = 20 damage [1d4+6] = 2+6 = 8
"It's quite a place. A place of good times and bad, of pain and growth, but in the end a place of great hope. - But if you ever do come aboard, remember one thing: No one there is exactly what he seems. But then, who is?"- G'Kar

[OOC:] lol. pytor's reaction to the battered gold club is priceless. As a trained blacksmith, he could do such repairs if he were agreed, but he would need tools
====

Pytor, Pyros and Jerry continue to dig and batter at the hard baked statue until a hole opens to the interior. After a bit more work, they open the breach wide enough for an adult human to crawl through. Inside they find that the shell-like statue is 7 or 8 inches thick. At first it appears the structure is supported by bone pillars, but it soon becomes obvious that these are the legs of massive skeletons over 12 feet tall!! The undead stand motionless, holding large cross-beams built into the structure, perhaps these were the forces at work rotating the giant raven...

The giant skeletons pay no heed to the party, nor the newly broken hole in the side of the statue. a small patch in the center of the hidden space is clear and wide enough for one person to stand unhindered...
