"Your tale, Pytor, is not boring and, I suspect, more lays beneath the surface so as to make it no simple," replies Jerry with a simple smile. "I am from the land of Faerun. My Mistress controls the powers, both arcane and divine. I have some small skills in both directions." With a sigh she continues with a change of focus, "I also seek to put to rest the restless dead."
The priestess shakes her head as if throwing off a troublesome thought, "So, pay tell me, intriguing sir, has your previous dreaming coicided with a full moon?"

Pytor replies to the cleric somberly. "I traveled alone to Thel Jeers just a month ago. It was my first time in the region... Did you say that you hailed from the forest to the west?"

At first, Pytor doesn't pay much attention to the words Mira hums focusing more on the melody issuing from her lips. But as he notices hair beginning to fall he feels his scalp and thick black mange. "Thank you, that feels manageable." His smile of pleasure turns to shock as his fingers run across a smooth clean jaw. "Ahh! You took it all? No... my mustache too? Who will take seriously a man with the smooth face of a boy? How could I even begin to approach a maiden like this? Is it gone forever? Will it grow back? Why shame me so? Are you still angry with me from earlier?"

Unnerved by the loss of his symbol of maturity among the "people", Pytor still tries to follow Jerry's words until his chuckle interrupts. "Heh... Skills in both directions? I spent a night with a lad and lass like that once... But I suspect you speak of a different set of skills than theirs as I've heard that most followers of the deities swear off the worldly pleasures. That always seemed such a steep price to me. I applaud your resolve. I could not have down such a thing." His interest perks greatly at her mention of the undead. "So? You've had success in dealing with such things? Could it be that a ferocious warrior hides behind your winsome aura? Tell me, how many have you returned to the grave?" He grows quiet at the mention of his dreams. "Yes. That and the night's leading up. But always worst on the night it is fullest."

[Pytor would likely be at least vaguely familiar with Meadville, and area where humans and halflings work together primarily in agricultural roles. Kind of the secondary 'breadbasket' of the kingdom. but it is indeed a larhe cleared area within the forest West of Thel Jeers]

Mira's cantrip does an efficient job shaving Pytor's face. [It can be crudely shaped, so she could leave the mustache if that was her original intemtion ;) ]

Elsa grins even wider at the mention of Thel Jeers. I've always wanted to go there! I've never been, but i hear it's the biggest human city aside from tne capitol! But yeah, Hilldale is in the Oakwood forest just nortn of Meadville. It's probably a three days hike into the forest from where the plains begin, or less if you take the road to Measville first then go north.

The grin that has slowly appeared on Mira's face falls as she see's his reaction, her flush going far lower than her visible skin..

"Ohh, oopps.. I've never actually used that one before, not on a man." She flushes even redder, "Umm, no it grows back I promise. I didnt think, Cross or Pyros will tell you, only a certain group of people in my world wear Mustaches and.. " She stops speaking a moment, damn.. damn.. "I didnt mean to shame you, I thought I was doing you a favor." Falling silent she lets Elsa discuss her homeland listening intently.
" Kid never learned to clear a room. Doors and corners, I told him. Doors and corners."

Watching as the man's face was shaven by Mira, Adran says thats some trick, you'll have to teach me.

Once the conversation dies down, Adran will study his spell book and offer his tome to ? (Can't remember who requested to read it it) to read.

The gypsy pats Mira's arm softly... "Do not fret, gentle lady. You bore me no malice, nor did you shame me... You merely laid bare the shame which already lay upon my heart. It will grow back soon enough."

Lowering his gaze to Elsa, Pytor continues... "On the night I arrived here, a red glow lay over the forest to the west of Thel Jeers. I set off to investigate but was assaulted by the corpse of my blood-brother. My flight from him was what drove me to this land. Unfortunately, I did not get close enough to discern the cause of the red glow over the forest."

"Thanks." Trying not to react to his touch Mira nods, "Trust me, I understand shame, I've done things I'm not proud of.." She sighs and listens to him discuss Elsa's home, shifting her chair closer she places a hand round her waist, pulling her close affectionately.

With fingers calloused from long hours at the hammer and forge, Pytor pushes back a strand of hair that had fallen over Mira's face tucking it softly behind her ear. His hand lingers for a moment as his palm slides along her cheek. "It pains me to hear you speak such words, but perhaps you do understand... Still, I pray to any gods who will listen, that one with a smile as bright as yours would never carry a burden such as mine upon your heart and soul."

Not again Mira Dear... her inner voice reminded her softly as Pytors fingers moved her hair. You don't need another Project, look how the last one worked out..?

"You have no idea." She comments turning her attention to Elsa, "On the rest we shall see.."

"So.." she coughs quite loudly, the sudden noise filling the room. "Jerry is probably one of the best people to help with your problem, either her or this Doctor Domani.. no offense but you are in no state to face this alone. I can't say I've faced things like that before, but then a month ago I'd never met a Were thing and we've killed two now." Giving a warm smile her hand resting on the hilt of the old short sword at her side she looks to each member of the group.

"I say we all stick together, after all you are Adrestia's .. little?" She looks at the pair questioningly "Brother." If no one objects she rises from the bed. "If you can use any of the weapons, take them, they'll be useful. Adrestia, you and Art planned to take some supplies? I can take some but frankly.. I'd slow you down more.." a little chuckle leaves her lips, almost a girlish laugh.
" Kid never learned to clear a room. Doors and corners, I told him. Doors and corners."

Elsa hugs Mira's arm back instinctually as she wraps her. oh my... she says, in a sympathetic tone. Well i'm a priestess, and Jerry there is too. Wiping out undead is a major tenent of my faith and she... well i thinks she carries it even farther. You cant do much better than to have us on your side against this thing. It may have been your family once, but once they become... that... they're not the person you loved anymore. Take some comfort in that.

Adrastia nods difinitively, You can come with us, little brother. she says with a sideways smile, shaking her head in approving disbelief. Wherever Marta sent you, it seems to have done you well. You look as if you can carry yourself in a fight and if you were raised by aunt Zanda, you must be tough as an old root by now. she chuckles. I warn you, our road is not one of safety either. I hunt bloated, hateful things that were once men. These Goblyns are the beasts that attacked our tribe... the ones that caused our mother's vision and thus separated us so long ago. I hunt them to find their master and destroy it... and these people hunt a crown, a way they think may send them back to their homes. A thing surely to be surrounded by many evils. We go not into safety... but into what we each feel we must. And we go together; and in that there is more safety than going alone... What say you, brother?

Merrick, who seems somewhat relieved Pytor's attention has drifted to Mira rather than Jerry, asks Adran for a chance to study the tome little.

Artanis sets about packing the cured and preserved meats into layers of sacks; each small enough and bound in a pair to make a makeshift saddlebag. He gathers a certain amount of salt and coffee as welll in a similar manner. He looks askance once at Adrastia and she nods. So he sets the prepared bags aside.

"I couldn't have said it better myself." Mira grins, "You've got some great people behind you if you stay, and I can hold a tune." She giggles.

(Sorry for the delay replying)

"I hope that you are correct, milady." Pytor crouches so as not to tower above the seated halfling. "But I felt the rage from him that was directed at me... We were more than adopted cousins, actual cousins I suppose if Zanda is Marta's sister, but more than that... We were blood brothers, bound by a blood oath sworn over the tralaks... Regardless of my feelings, I am not foolish enough to disregard your experience in such matters, Lady Elsa. When time allows, I would commune with you, and Miss Jerry as well, to impart what advice and experience you would to me."

Rising, Pytor steps away from the pair of women and steps up to Adrastia. Laying a hand on each of her shoulders he looks the gypsy woman up and down before settling his gaze upon her face. "All of my life, I've had questions about what happened to my family that none would answer. Now that a few have been answered in part, new ones sprout like weeds around me. I would have them all answered none so more than wishing to know you... So far, I have few plans on how to deal with Barsali, aside from staying on the move. Only a fool or a hermit would prefer traveling alone. And if in doing so I can aid my sister in seeking vengeance for our tribe, all the better."

Releasing his grip on Adrastia, he turns to Mira with a chiding grin. "A single tune? And here I had hopes that your talents would rival your charm. Well then, which tune would that be?"
