Act 3 Scene 2: Coffins and Crowns

[Jenara]

Karl stands by the Young Elf, his intent clear as he guards her, he could see the obvious traps that could surround them.

"She should not be going in on her own." The Knight almost curses as he spies Mira walking off again.

[SwifiePrincess]

"Then we should not let her. If she insists on going, and you insist on guarding me, then we will follow her together." Riel places her hand in her sword hilt and heads inside, allowing the strange knight to keep in step with her.

*What am I doing?* She asks no-one, curious why her mental words seemed to echo in her mind..

[Jenara]

"Very well. If you Insist." Karl steps forwards, his stride just barely ahead of the elf.

Jerry goes with Merrick who goes with Mira.

[Nocturno]

"You silly creatures, You think I'm here to take away your grain? We're here for Jerry's Dad!" He kinda laughs but understands this isn't normal.
"Shoo, let me pass." He takes a step forward sweeping them away with his foot if he has to.

[Styrius]

Kybalion falls in with the group and explores after the guards let him pass. He show them a touch of respect as he knows the dullness and thanklessness of their task.

The group moves into the grain warehouse, Mira searching for the intrepid Kender and the others following in search of signs of the creature's presence. The group hears a faint squeaking creaking sound carrying from the back of the warehouse. Some of the young folk with clubs look to each other nervously before staring back into the dark...

Far to the back and out of sight of the others, Pyros presses on towards the rodents, sweeping at them with his foot. Three of the larger rats lash out aggressively as he moves towards the pack; one of them sinking filthy jagged teeth into his leg!

"OW! IWASGOINGTOLEAVEYOUALONE!"Probably louder than he expected, from the shock of the rat actually attacking him.
He will pull out two daggers and swipe back.

[Everyone in the front is able to faintly hear Pyros screaming in the back]

"Pyros!" Mira shouts in alarm, "Damn Kender." She will keep magic missile on her lips as she enters.

[Jenara]

"Blasted Kender." Karl curses and makes a small sign to Paladine.. "Sorry my Lord." He utters under his breath, following Mira.

[SwifiePrincess]

"Do the small one and the Lady Bard often do this?" Riel asks, looking around quite panicked. The Barn felt like an idea trap to her, her senses were screaming, was this whole place mad?

[Jenara]

"Usually? Yes." Karl answers, "It vexes me greatly, my honour says to protect them. How can one protect the unprotectable?"

"Merrick, hustle!" calls Jerry as she speeds up in the direction of Pyros's voice.
