Pyros will work his way through the warehouse, and to the bridge.

"I haven't heard Stories of such things, but we encountered something that fits that description less than a week ago." Mira answers Riel as she considers her words, "Many of those here have. Horrible things. Truly horrible things."

"To be through, we are going to look in all the buildings where the creature could be on residence. Could you arrange us access to the Mill Building?" Mira asks the Guards as they approach the Warehouse..

"It's tried to kill me too. It sucked the very life from me. I have a code, as I'm am sure you are aware. The darkness does not challenge my blade, but my spirit. If I stand, I remain a knight. If I yield to fear, I have already fallen." He answers Kybalion with a smile.

Karl obverses the tower and the warehouse, distracted slightly by the words Mira uttered about the Creatures. "Yes we encountered them, they were without honour, awful things as Lady Mira says "

"You have encountered these things? They ate the Goblins! They killed my raiding party, my friends, evil. True evil " she shakes her head and turns her attention to the Warehouse.

"The creature you are looking for might be up there? Jerry? I can track, tell me what I am looking for? I need to be helpful."

"A vampire," replies Jerry. "Undead. Extremely strong, fast, regenerates swiftly. Only hurt by fire, acid, magic, magical weapons, holy water or goodly holy icons. Only truly killed by exposure to sunlight or immesion in running water. Maybe by beheading and a mouthful of holy wafers. Wooden stake through the heart can paralyse it (until rremoved). It can Charm by sight, maybe to sixty foot. It sucks blood, can summon bats and wolves. Many retain skills that they had in real life, including spell casting. If the body is destroyed, but not truly killed, a vampire will turn to gas and retreat to its lair: a coffin. A day later they return renewed. So we're searching for a coffin, its coffin, before that day, today, is finished. Tracking a gas is probably impossible. But boot printes around it's lair might be found. Also signs of infestation by rats, bats and such. I can desribe the footwear. This one was once my father. Some can turn into a big bat or a swarm of them, reputedly, but I've never seen that. Accounts may differ."

Kybalion listen’s to Jerry’s explanation. His hand goes reflexively to his pouch wherein his two vials of holy water are. He goes through some mental gymnastics. The water he believes keeps his good looks or vampire destruction. Decisions, decisions. He doesn’t speak of his grooming to anyone he is convinced it helps him. Hearing that they may have a chance to find this coffin of this vampire and kill the dirty, filthy, rotten, stinking, coward he is ready to get on with it. “Let’s find this nasty creature and end its tortured existence. No offense, Jerry.”
You are talkin' to the holy symbol wearing,
Ruby ring wearing, kiss stealing; Woo!
Praying/healing, beholder riding, griffin flying
Son of a blowgun, and I'm having a hard time holding these Aboleth shoes down! WOO!

"I wish I were wiser but seeking that end is my focus," Jerry replies. "So, no offence taken."

Esker Manyblades

Esker is watchful as Pyros slips away into the warehouse. Perhaps it was not wise to go alone, but if the guards were to prevent them entering, it might be best to ask forgiveness rather than permission. He waits for now to access the guards stance on them entering. He knew little of the laws here and he wished to spend no more time in a gaol, than he already has. He listens as they speak of the beast the Ulfen maid encountered. It seemed this land had no end of horrors within its borders.

At Mira's request, the guards approach one of the laborers who directs him to another man smoking a pipe in the corner. After a short discussion and only a little protest, the guard signals to the Bard they are allowed to proceed. Essayez de ne pas trop déranger les ouvriers, le patron est un peu susceptible. Mais faites ce dont vous avez besoin.

Pyros slips through the side door, looking for a way to the upper level and conveniently finds a stairway near the small side entrance. The deafening noise of the falls is only partially muted by the walls once inside. Something tickles the edge of his brain like a scuffling sound just at the edge of hearing. In the dark corner, nearby several pairs of beady little red eyes watch the Kender closely...

Under his breath. "Now that is curious." He will creep over to the corner.

"He said we can go inside, but not to disturb the workers much." Mira translates as she moves to enter the building. "Scary stuff indeed."' she adds by way of Jerry's description, she'd heard it before but each time it still filled her with dread.

"Pyros will do.what Pyros does, we back him up if needed. A Kender can get to places we'd be too busy getting agreement to enter."

"Indeed." Karl answers with a raised eyebrow, remembering a certain Kender and a glass orb... He nods his head in greeting to the men and enters the building.

"A Vampire?" Riel tries not to gasp, she hears the man speak that strange language, words she had no idea about, this truly was another world.

Was she dead? That she would have to consider later, now her task needed to be focused on this creature. Perhaps if she helped she might find a way home.

"Leaves no trail, but we would find evidence of it's passing, surely death follows?" Staying near the woman Mira she attempts to smell of there is a change in the air.

Iscind Aranya

Iscind stayed to the rear of the group as they entered past the guards and those working within. She doubted a draugr would sleep so close to where so many labor risking discovery. Perhaps he had a guardian within that kept him protected. She whispered prayers to the All-Father for protection of those they traveled with and any innocents who might be exposed to the threat.

Jerry simply nods when Riel echoes the words vampire. She corrects, "Sorry I wasn't clearer. Let me try again. In humanoid, corporial form it leaves tracks. If actually able to transform into a wolf, large bat or bat swarm it would leave tracks appropriate to that form. When its humanoid, corporial form is damaged beyod function it then transforms into a gas which cannot, to my knowledge, damage not be damaged. That gaseous form leaves tracks as would another subject to the arcane spell: Gaseous Form. it travels by a direct routee, or so I believe, to a coffin pre-prepared by its owner. The coffin will have grave dirt inside it. The gas coalesces and reforms a solid humaoid, corporial form again: that of the vampire. It rests immobile in the coffin until the following day when it rises anew, all damage repaired. It may have multiple coffins prepared in different locations.

"Vampires, like ghouls, ghasts, wights, ghosts and so forth, none of these are alive. They have all passed beyond life, through death, into undeath. They are undead. not alive. Not dead. There is huge debate about what is, what powers life. I follow the teory that I am from a prime material Plane. my home. Each of us seemily come from different versions of the Prime Material Plane. Whether these are different Dimensions or as some say different Crystal Spheres, I cannot say. But they all have in common, according to the theory I follow, is that all are touched, surrounded, or permeated by Positive Energy Plane and a a Negative Energy Plane. it may be that there is only one of each touching all, like a barrels of water surrounding drops of oil. I believe that life is formed, powered by some mix of energy from the two, both Positive and Negative. Certain spells can tap tiny amounts of energy from these planes. Healing spells pull from the Positive Energy Plane. Undead are powered, enabled, soley by the Negative Energy Plane. Whether Undead are healed or damaged by curing spells I do not know. I have heard both theories.

"This is the simple view. The seat of the sentience, even at the basic level of obeying Commands or Rebukes, for example, is much debated. Possibly tied to the soul of spirit of the former living humanoid. i think such do not reach their Deities' Upper Planes, nor Lower in such cases, notr the Fugue plane for unbelievers.

"I do know though that this twisted creature, clever and fastidious in life, and seemingly so in Undeath also, needs to be despatched."
She pauses, eyes refocusing upon the newcomer. "My apologies, Riel. i did not intend to lay this on you, nor to lecture, nor to imply that you should somehow already know these things. That was unfair of me. This stresses me so."

Jerry sags and leans against Merrick, eyes flicking aound, looking to see if Mira has anything to impart.
