A classic 2e Puzzle dungeon for High Level characters
Beware, this one is substantially longer and (IMHO) even harder than the legendary Tomb of Horrors!
=============================
(OOC: OK. Thanks. I bet it is frustrating to repeat these things for me, being senile as I am
So, if that's the case, all my question marks are irrelevant and we can proceed either way.)

Axid attempts a clairvoyance. "I must not be holding the rabbit ears just right." He waits until the next round and gives it another go. [1d20]=10
Clairvoyance works and he views the area around the corner on the other side of the magical area from the pit trap with the gel cube. Per convo with the DM, Axid views a dead end hallway just like the one we teleported into. Axid cannot discern any magic or traps this way. "There may be something there with all of the obstacles in the way. That is just my guess but it does look like a hall to nowhere. Maybe there is another teleport in the room from another place."
You are talkin' to the holy symbol wearing, Ruby ring wearing, kiss stealing; Woo! Praying/healing, beholder riding, griffin flying Son of a blowgun, and I'm having a hard time holding these Aboleth shoes down! WOO!
At Axid words, Ke'Sha nods in agreement and adds "Or another secret door... So it is your call, we can head east or west, but it is a bit crampy west, so if you decide to head that direction, we could use your dimension doors to divide the group between the two sides of the pit, deal with the gelly cube and then move on."
[OOC]
So a few options, at least 2 obvious structural 'dead ends' as mentioned by the
1) Dead End 'West': beyond the teleport area and the magical room, Axid has viewed with Clairvoyance as an apparent dead-end hall
2) Dead End 'East': Mourkok scouted
3) Blue door, not overcome/circumvented . (perhaps not possible to overcome, Alikhain said powerful magic indeed would be needed. perhaps disintegrate)
4) Stairwell leading down past other places to the East
Axid hears Ke$ha’s remarks and ponders for a second. The cannibal halfling necromancer was right. He detested that thought of being in agreement with the undead lover. Axid’s beard was visibly moving with his thoughts. “Aye… the little things is right. I can get us across and we can check out the other hallway.”

“Might ye have suggestions on how we deal with the cavern cleaner? Flames in that small area be a bad idea!” Axid blurts out.

"Carefully?" Jag will chuckle at himself. "I have some non-fire based spells that should be able to handle it."
======================== "I will skip touching it, if it is all the same to the rest of you."
“So we're going after the thing in the pit? I'm okay with that. But is it any less dangerous dead than alive?”
=======================================================================
After we kill this thing, how do we safely get the items in there up to where we can examine them?
