Ke'Sha gives a momentarily forced grin then command Nidrith to go and carefuly shop the plant that Alrius is glued to. In the meanwhile he mentally asks Alrius if anything in the room looks suspicious.

With some amusement, real or feigned, Ke'Sha orders the second Juju zombie forward. Nidrith complies and, once she enters the room, immediately comes under assault by the constant slinging of thorns. Treading up the steps she hacks at the thornslinger around the areas restraining her fellow zombie's fists. In one well-aimed blow she strikes the badly damaged plant dead, them begins to trim the bits and pieces off of Alrius' hands with her sword.

At his master's command, Alrius looks around but doesn't give any indication he sees anything 'suspicious'. The 2 remaining thornslingers continue to fire, adding to the undead's accumulating collection...

Nidrith attacks thornslinger1 with +1 short sword
Thac0 15 vs AC 8 (+1): Need 6+ (7+ if weaponless)

Nidrith vs thornslinger 3 rnds [1d20]=9, [1d6+1]=5+1=6, [1d20]=18, [1d6+1]=1+1=2, [1d20]=3, [1d6+1]=3+1=4

round 1 [1d20] = 9, Hit for 6 dmg. Killing it!

"Alrius, pick up the sword, then join Nidrith choping the remaining thronslingers. Both of you, what out where you step. If the plants are in soil keep standing on the platform and not in the soil."

[The entire top of the platform is covered in soil, only the very edge near the stairs is clear. I'll say it's close enough to reach thornslinger2 but not 3]


Ke'Sha issues new orders and Alrius descends to retrieve his sword, while Nidrith continues to hack away at the new target. Alrius rejoins her at the top, both skirting the edge of the platform and avoiding the soil. The vines continue to whip and throw more thorns, one of which tangles Alrius’ foot; sending him crashing to the ground below! Even so, the outcome of the contest is clear as the juju zombies finish cutting down the second plant; impervious to its attacks.

Nidrith stabs the ground, her sword sinking easily into the soil. She moves to attack the final thornslinger, but abruptly she vanishes from sight! The thornslinger continues to attack Alrius
