Dawn breaks, the morning warm with a damp haze to the air. The forest hums with a calm tranquility as if a long-held breath laden with tension were finally released. Members of the camp begin to stir as the light filters through the trees in thin but warm rays of golden light.

The Device:
The Egg-shaped pommel of the magic item has been recovered! The 3 pieces currently collected can be assembled using the Journal.
-The next step is to convince the Elves of Lesoger to allow the party to borrow rhe Amber Sphere!
Katten has a ‘token’ from one of the former council members. There may be other folks they can get on their side to help their case, but having all the pieces of the device and the journal for how it all comes together (and how it is to be used) should be a big help.
The Captives:
There are 20 freed captives who are from different areas. If the party plans to go to any of the communities, the captives headed there will prefer to tag along with the party.

Re: Act 3, Scene 1: Assembly and Supplication
"We should probably head to Bordertown to resupply, and bring news of the Goblins being demoralized. Beyond that I am happy to escort some folks home, if it is not far out of the way to Lesoger."
Re: Act 3, Scene 1: Assembly and Supplication
Linar, feeling better with spells regained, nods agreement.
Re: Act 3, Scene 1: Assembly and Supplication
"Bordertown?" Katten asks as she watches Dran enjoy his breakfast. "What it all come with us? We go there, then they safe to go to others? Wetrocks dead. Homeland safe." She beams her toothy smile. Rising to her feet as she raises the leaders axe. "Me learn to use this." She chuckles.

Re: Act 3, Scene 1: Assembly and Supplication
"Yes, Bordertown, it is a strong city, with lots of food. We can bring the people we saved there. Then they can meet up others from their area, and be safe on their travel home."
Silent for a moment.
"How do we look for food, and provisions while we travel. I know some of us are still wounded also."

Re: Act 3, Scene 1: Assembly and Supplication
As the discussion goes on, Linar reapplies his magical armor then He and Jordek make some healing prayers.
Jordek chimes in about rations, Well there is that small barrel of pickled fish from the cave... it's not great but it's food.
Aldgild nods, Aye, they would feed us scraps sometimes... fish heads and fins, and other garbage leftovers. I am a skilled hunter with a bow, and my sons are passable as well.
The Forest Gnome shrugs, I can keep an eye out for forage as we travel, but once we get to Quel Salas we should be able to get some better food. With this big group, it would probably take a day and a half to get there through the forest even if it was just you tall folk... he muses.
Nearby some of the former captives have assembled. The female Rock Gnome moves up to speak for the others. I'm Gnessa. She introduces herself. Undin here and I have been talking... We're going North, away from the pit. That's where I'm from, anyway, and it's a lot shorter and there shouldn't be any goblins about anymore though I hope... Umm... The Dwarf hefts one of the axes and wears the splint mail from a goblin that strains around his girth in a clearly uncomfortable manner. S'awright, lass, you can do it. He says, encouragingly.
The Gnome takes a deep breath and lets it out slowly, then the words all come out in a rush. Listen, yeah so it's kinda this thing where I used to talk a lot and it was kind of my whole thing but then the goblins didn't-really-like-that and so it got pretty bad but UndinsaysIdon'thavetoworryaboutthatanymore soanywayIjustthoughtwecouldsaveyousometroubleifyoucangetustothebridgeweshouldbefine... Her cheeks flush self-consciously as she finishes in a rush. The Dwarf pats her shoulder in a comforting gesture. Oh! And Ferdo's coming. She adds, the halfing nearby perking up at the mention of his name and making a flourish of a bow.
Two of the Human women step forward, both seemingly in their thirties, one of which speaks up. We're going too. This is Brix, and my name is Joan. We're from Thel Jeers and we were trading with Bordertown... the dangerous part has always been south of the bridge, so... well We're going North with Undin and Gnessa. Two of the human men hovering nearby step forward as well. One identifies himself as Piersym, saying Yes, they have been telling me all about Thel Jeers, I think I'd like to go with them... I'm not really familiar with this area but a big town seems the best place... I've had quite enough of the wilderness and caves for my taste. The other, a dark haired man, nods in agreement. I'm going too. North, that is... If you're willing to get us to the bridge, it would be much safer on the other side.
Sabil stands, supporting the badly injured Half-elven man Anthir. We'll go too. We're bound for Meadville, which is to the North anyway. We were moving there when... when we were attacked, and... She seems overrought with emotion, clutching the man who was on death's door only hours ago. The other half-elven man speaks, I am Amras. Anthir is my brother, and he and his wife here were coming to live with me. They'd had enough of Bordertown itself and wanted somewhere more peaceful... ironically the very journey turned into... well... this.

"Well a problem that seems to solve itself is no problem at all." He hopes to look like a wise old highelf in front of everyone.
Nocturno looks around.
"Escorting you that far will make the rest of our journey easier. What say the rest of us who need to make this journey to Lesoger?"

Re: Act 3, Scene 1: Assembly and Supplication
Linar nods, "I'd be fine with taking you to the bridge at least." He moves towards the badly injured Half-elven man Anthir. "May I?" If permitted he prays for healing for the fellow. He then says quietly, "There. That's all my healing for the day," and thanks his goodly deity.
OOC
@GM - Please will you roll Linar's CLW for Anthir. (The dice roller is still holding a grudge.)
So which NPCs still want to go to Bordertown?
