While waiting to hear if something has changed when two people wear the rings, Yelb seeks some dried meat to chew on.

Jar will put on the ring. Then immediately start yelling like a lunatic and run around in a circle three times. The try to fall on Pik.

Assuming Ornvul feels no untoward effect from her own ring, she will shake her head and move away to a corner to put the new attire on using her cloak as a modesty shield.

Nocturno places the snake-like ring on his finger to no obvious benefit… fortunately there doesn’t seem to be any obvious harm at the moment either. Neither he nor Ornvul feel any different.

I should like to have the second ring. Seos says

===
So

Jar: snake ring, cloak of protection +1
Ornvul: Girdle
Cait: 2-H sword +1, mace +2
Seos: ring

Yes?

Seeing his joke bombed.

"Yes uh, well. Shall we go destroy that orb around the fourth rune like I destroyed that moment of levity?"

Ornvul inquires, "So you think that yelling a lot and running around it three times will destroy it? Is this a new spell?"

No, no... that was a failed attempt at some humour. I have disintegration for that!"

Jar will chuckle and shake his head.

"Don't quit the magic Jar..."

"It was funny." Yelb says with no humor at all. "So, any of the grownups wants to continue?"

Hope yer magic is strong enuf to kill that joke… Pik mutters, though he does so with a crooked smile.

-----
Chris: it is11:40 am day 5 per the current version of the OP, so she and Soes have just about 4 hrs 20 mins remaining on their stoneskins.

Bish: is yelb casting that lineup of spells now?

I’ll add the new eq as divided amongst the party in a couple hrs.

Sorry for delays. Work and life have been bonkers lately.

"Let's go blast that thing so we can get out of here."

"Yes put quite nicely."

As they start to leave or just before Jar will cast Cure Moderate Wounds on Yelb and Pik.

For Yelb:
Cure Moderate Wounds: [1d10+1] = 10+1 = 11

For Pik:
Cure Moderate Wounds: [1d10+1] = 9+1 = 10

As the party prepares to move on, Yelb quickly performs few rituals followed by casting spells to prepare for the coming day in this awful hell.

He starts with casting 'Stoneskin'

'Swords, arrows, boulders and spears,
None of them will provoke any fear.
My though skin will block them all,
and thus my enemies to the ground will fall.'

He then casts 'Phantom Armor'

'Light as the air,
Forceful as bear,
From any danger protected I am,
Or at least so I claim.'

Afterwards he casts 'Cat's grace' to enhance his instincts

'Kivansh Lorten afleka,
Ras tak gen,
Ork Mazork yu Mahleka,
Birta-kefan zen.'

Which would translate to:
'Silent shadows try and succeed,
to lurk, sneak and hide,
Orcish instincts and Panther speed,
will be my guide.'

And eventually he stores powers in his 'Magic Staff', first preparing it and then imbues it with 'Improved Invisibility' spell.

'Powers above hear me out,
This staff will hold The Art forces about,
Until they needed and then in great speed,
they will be unleashed and help fulfill my deed.'

'Hide me from the naked eye,
whether in light or darkness,
Even when attacking foes,
drawing them into madness.'

Once he is ready, Jardinger cures more of his wounds and he thanks him once again.

============================================================
(OOC: Casting cat's grace: [1d6] = 6 temporary 20 DEX
Do I need to roll for stoneskin or you roll secretly the result? Do I roll for anything else?)

"Unless anyone like swapping bodies, and I don't, I suggest one at a time in that area," proposes the now-so-serious elf.

[Bish: you can roll for the stoneskin, that's fine]

Pik and Yelb's newly healed wounds both consist of the same serpentine flesh as before...

Yelb prepares to set out with his final array of defensive spells.

So who shall destroy the force sphere covering the fourth sigil? Jar? Seos asks as they prepare to set out.
