Intent was for a casual walk around in case she spots anything concealed and then a 'hands-on' search on the LH wall, clockwise, starting from he curent postion (on the map above) round the north half of the house's rooms.

"Interesting.." Mira muses as she moves over to the strange wall, "Quiet! Please." When it goes quiet she taps lightly with the hilt of her blade she listens to hear if anything sounds hollow.

The pups gladly accept the mest from Pyros, tails flailing happily. A couple begin a tug-of-war over one piece until it tears in two. Each takes its prize to a separate space in the kitchen to munch on; one even hiding under the kitchen table to do so.

Jerry begins to walk around but doesn't note anything, the bard's presence unintentionally blocking her view of the pantry. Mira begins to tap on the wall with the hilt of her sword. Everything seems normal until she gets to the center. There is an audible thak as of flat wood on flat metal. Following it along she finds a tall but narrow area the same. With the last tap, one corner of the wood planking lifts enough to pry open. Removing the board she finds a tall, narrow wall-safe with a combination dial!!

"Pyros!" She calls in excitement, "I've found something interesting.." Her voice is hopefully loud enough to get his attention, turning she sees Jerry. "Oh, lool, or Wolfy friend was hiding something, apart from being a wolf and a man of course." She giggles relaxing now the combat has ended.

"I never really killed anyone or anything until I came here, its a little scary. Did you find anything on the table, any names or the like that might identify who this is? I'm thinking we need to get Ontash."

Mira glances at the map [I'll post it in the Party Knowledge thread with the list], which shows forest trails to Skald, Harmonia and a canyon in the foothills to the southeast marked by a tiny skull. The letters are in Harmonian and addressed to a 'Jackques'. They are all of a mundane nature, or sufficiently vague that their true meaning cannot be guessed...

Pyros spends 3 minutes checking the wall safe for traps, but finds none. The safe has a combination lock on it, but no keyhole.

Pyros will give the combo dial a quick spin.

Then he will stick his ear to the safe and see if he can hear a click on any certain number.

Open Locks (80%): [1d100] = 99

Pyros puts his ear to the wall and spins the dial. He listens so carefully that he mistakes some of the rusty of the grinding of the ill-kept lock for the dials falling in place. Satisfied he has it he goes to turn the handle, which doesn't budge!

"The Names? Well it looks like his name is Jackques, and the others, well there is Airand who took over from me at the Inn, and Akriel who we met outside the Jail." Mira replies, "No luck then? Locks arent my thing, and I dont really have any spells for it.. Jerry? Merrick?" She asks curiously.

"Upstairs our friend had a stash of treasure. I think I need to change my hiding place, for my stuff.. there is a bag of hundreds of silver outside. And i mean hundreds. I could barely carry it to be honest." Mira grins.

Pyros curses loudly and bangs on the door.

My word! What's wrong, Pyros? Merrick's disembodied voice calls from the kitchen.

When Mira asks, A lock? Hmm... i think i have a spell for that, erm.. nothing illegal you understand... he says nervously, but i don't have it prepared today...
