Round 4

Alecia moves round behind Sue and fills him with her god's healing energies. Meanwhile, the largest of the pack [WG4] moves to harass Sue but only manages to look limp-wristed

Feeling lucky, Sue transfers his Hunter’s Mark to the foe in his face [WG4] and then hacks its side. [8 slash & 2 radiant dam] Again the sword scorches Sue. [2 radiant dam] "I'm going to need someone to look at this weapon, after these things are dealt with." Jim’s tuned body effortlessly shrugs off the ghoul toxin and, again, gives it’s producer [EG3] the mace & fist routine, slapping its face back and forth. [9 & 8 bludgeoning dam]

Another Ray of Frost from Woody whitens the rear ghoul’s shoulder. [EG4: 5 cold dam] Nix leaps into life and uses his Eldrgidge Blast to drive the unlife from Jim’s attacker. [EG3: 4 force dam] It collapses. ‘Whitey’ [EG4] advances and tries ineffectually to bite Jim. It pulls back abruptly and runs off to the north. Without thinking Jim reacts with a successful mace swipe. [EG4: 5 bludgeoning dam] It continues running.

" These things have a bounty also. Let's stack their heads by the bucket." Once the 7 heads are by the bucket. Sue will try to expedite the process using the un cursed weapon.

"Ok, let's keep the search up. " He will head back to the door he heard the ghouls at and listen again.

Perception(Wis)(2): [1d20+2] = 3+2 = 5

He would not go alone.

Once heads are done, he will make sure they are at least following before he went to the door.

He will push them along, in hopes of saving some time for his Hunter's Mark though.

If everyone follows as he asked, he will draw his non-magical sword, and open the door.

Taking a deep breath to calm his battle high, Jim finds his center as he watches the ghoul run off. When Sue mentions the bounty on the ghoul heads Jim replies "We know the general direction the ghoul that got away went, perhaps there will be more if we search in that direction. Though if I recall correctly mapping is the real money maker."
Jim has witnessed some of Sue's abilities and has a pretty solid idea as far as what kind of fighter Sue might actually be. Jim is just making sure priorities are being maintained. If Sue goes back to the "ghoul door" after the heads are collected, Jim will quietly accompany him. If a moment occurs where the clanking of the large half orc quietens, Jim will take the opportunity to dryly mention "Stealthiness generally works better the quieter you are" without making any eye contact with the half orc.

Sue will grunt and smirk at the monk.

"Care to let me in?" Sue will draw the mundane sword.

Woody will also follow Sue. "Sue it definitely was not the ghouls making your arm glow as Jim's arms did not glow when he hit the ghouls.

When Jim and Sue arrive at the door of the ghoul battle, with the others in tow presumably, Jim will pause to listen at the door. Running his fingers over the 4 clawed furrows in his arm unconsciously while listening, he then opens the door in a quick motion moving to ensure Sue is the figure in front.

Jim ably opens the door and nimbly nips backwards to allow Sue entrance. The opened door reveals a privy. A wooden seat, pierced with a hole, such as one finds in an outhouse, is accompanied by a wooden bin of leaves. There is no offensive smell.

"This seems to be Jim's area of expertise." Sue will stand back, and the monk search.

"Next?"

Jim sees that the hole is about 4' in diameter.

======
Looking around generally without the aid of light reduces Jim's passive perception to 10,
Jim can make an Investigation skill check if he wishes.

Woody cast light on a coin and hands it to Jim. Once done investigating he cancels the light.

Investigation(0): [1d20] = 13

"I can take a look through the room if that is what you want Sue" Jim heads into the small room. While crouching and crawling through the room Jim queries "Forgive me if I am presumptuous, but I had thought you were some sort of Investigator/Watch/Patrol person Sue. Are you sure I am the best person to be doing this?"
