Round 1
The group fall back to the well shaft and form up as directed by Sue. A group of feral humanoids, at least seven of them, come slavering into the light. Alecia casts Bless on Sue, Jim & Nix.
The westernmost ghoul [WG1], slighter and faster than the rest, nips in to scratch futilely against Sue's chest-plate. By the narrowest of margins, and that courtesy of the Bless, the paladin returns the favour, magical edge biting into the undead chest [12 slash]. Liquid light flows from the blade to the ghoul's wound [4 radiant dam] and Sue's forearm [3 radiant dam]. The ghoul [WG1] screams as it drops, once again inert.

At the last moment Jim switches targets to the easternmost ghoul [EG1]in front of him, indecision almost costing him the blow, saved only by the cleric's Bless. The martial artist pounds the unholy creature twice, shoulder and ribs [17 bludgeon] before it tries to gets its teeth into his shoulder but bites only the rim of Sue's shield.

Withdrawing southwards slightly Woody decides that there's too much cover to reliably target the rearmost foe and settles instead on chilling Jim's adversary [EG1]with his trademark Frost cantrip [5 cold] which is sufficient to end its exertions. It collapses forever. Nix similarly goes for the next in line to Sue [WG2] with a Blast of Eldridge energy to the neck, snapping its head back. [10 force dam]

Actions & rolls for round two, please.

======
Initiative
Alecia 17
West Ghoul #1 10
Sue 7
Jim 6
East Ghoul #1 5

Are the next two in the doorway, on the other side so there is 5' gap between Sue, Jim and the Ghouls?

If the ghouls don't step into the door before Sue starts his swing he will move up into the doorway.

Changing his spell to the target directly in front of him.(Bonus) Sue will swing at his new target.
Longsword+1: To hit: [1d20+6] = 5+6 = 11 Damage [1d8+4] = 3+4 = 7
Bless Roll: [1d4] = 1
Radiant Dmg to Undead from Sword: [1d8] = 3
Hunter's Mark: [1d6] = 6

Sue will again help to protect his comrade if he is attacked.(Reaction)

Round 2
Attack 2+ [1d20] = 3 =5
Woody tries to move into a position where he can see a ghoul and fires a ray of frost. He will move back after the blast that is away from the group incase he needs to use an area of effect spell.

Round 2!

Jim will attack a foe within reach. I am not sure what will be in front of him when it gets to his turn but his intention is to block the way to the more vulnerable party members*

To Hit: [1d20+6] = 14+6 = 20 , Mace Damage: [1d6+4] = 4+4 = 8
To Hit: [1d20+6] = 12+6 = 18 , Unarmed Damage: [1d4+4] = 2+4 = 6
not needed but rolled anyway... Bless(mace)(unarmed): [1d4] = 3 , [1d4] = 4

=======================================
*Are there party members more vulnerable than Jim? History is not entirely clear on this point... but it has been clear on the point that Jim is most definitely made of the squishy stuff. It has checked multiple times, just to be sure and all.

Round 2
Alecia calls down a wispy flame [1 radiant dam] on the undead [WG2] facing Sue which then advances and gnaws ineffectually at Sue’s armoured forearm.

The paladin hacks at the ghoul [WG2] in front of him, missing by the narrowest of margins [AC10]. Maintaining the phalanx, Jim beats down on Sue’s attacker, ending its aggression forever. [WG2: 14 bludgeoning dam] The next ghoul [EG2] advances on Jim and tries to sate its hunger, teeth snapping shut on empty air. Jockeying for a better view, Woody loses concentration for a moment and just frosts up a small patch on the wall. Nix, on good form, whacks Jim’s attacker with a sparkling Blast. [EB2: 8 force dam]

***
Three ghouls down. Only five remain.

Round 3,

This time Woody connect with a crippling Ray of Frost. "How does that feel Ghoul?" I don't think he felt that one.

to hit: [1d20] = 14 + 5 =19
Damage:[1d8] = 1

Wondering what is going on with the new weapon; Before swinging he makes sure to change his concentration to his new mark.(bonus, the one in front of him, or in front of Jim, if the gap in front of him is not filled.) Sue winds up again and swings at the next ghoul to move up, or the one in front of Jim.
Longsword11: To hit: [1d20+4] = 12+4 = 16 Damage [1d8+2] = 5+2 = 7
Bless Roll: [1d4] = 2
Radiant Dmg to Undead from Sword: [1d8] = 6
Hunter's Mark: [1d6] = 5

With a grunt: "What is this thing doing to me!"

He will ready his protection for Jim again.(reaction)

Round 3!

Targeting what he can reach while maintaining a ghoul free zone behind him...

To Hit: [1d20+6] = 12+6 = 18 , Mace Damage: [1d6+4] = 5+4 = 9
To Hit: [1d20+6] = 2+6 = 8 , Unarmed Damage: [1d4+4] = 3+4 = 7
Bless(mace)(unarmed): [1d4] = 3 , [1d4] = 4

Looks like the gods wanted a ghoul to get punched in the face!

Round 3

Seeing that the front rank of udead are being chewed up nicely, Alecia switches tactics and calls down a shadowy flame [WG4: 5 radiant dam] on one of the back rank.

The undead [WG3] facing Sue advances and gnaws all too effectively at Sue’s armoured forearm. [19 pierce dam]

After transferring his enmity [Hunter’s Mark] to his bloody-mouthed assailant [WG3], Sue slashes the creature across the throat. [12 slash & 3 radiant damage] Again the sword bathes his forearm briefly in glowing, damaging light. [Sue takes 3 radiant dam] He grunts, "What is this thing doing to me!" Jim’s mace and fist ends his attacker [EG2: 16 bludgeoning dam] with a swift one-two to the left and right cheeks, “The Will of Lathander!”

Next in the conga of undeath [EG3] advances and slashes a claw under the deflecting paladin shield to score four parallel bloody welts down Jim’s arm. [7 slash dam & CON save DC10]

Woody taunts Jim’s attacker, “How does that feel Ghoul?” as he freezes the tip of its nose with the tiniest of Frosty Rays. [EG3: AC19, 1 cold dam] Nix joins the party and Blasts Sue’s ghoul’s nose into the back of its head [WG3: AC26, 9 force dam] It drops. “You had the right idea, Woody,” quips the tiefling.

Alecia moves round behind Sue and fills him with her god's healing energies.

======
L2 Cure Wounds: +18HP

Edit: @Jaded: Don't edit my forum without talking to me first, thank you. This post is from a different round and from an NPC'd PC, so your attempted help would just be confusing..

Having the power of Tymora course through his body, Sue feels extra lucky. He will move his mark to the closest target(bonus). The strike bracing for the burn that he knows is coming, but doesn't have time to deal with.
Longsword-1: To hit: [1d20+4] = 8+4 = 12 Damage [1d8+2] = 5+2 = 7
Bless Roll: [1d4] = 3

Radiant Dmg to Undead from Sword: [1d8] = 4
Hunter's Mark: [1d6] = 1

Sue will again reserve his reaction to help protect the monk.

"I'm going to need someone to look at this weapon, after these things are dealt with."

ConSave(1): [1d20+1] = 20+1 = 21

Bless(mace)(unarmed): [1d4] = 3 , [1d4] = 4
To Hit: [1d20+6] = 17+6 = 23 , Mace Damage: [1d6+4] = 5+4 = 9
To Hit: [1d20+6] = 3+6 = 9 , Unarmed Damage: [1d4+4] = 4+4 = 8

Jim's attacks are again directed at whatever ghoul is within reach while maintaining a barrier between the ghouls and the party members behind him
