the 'effect-style' timer seems best. how long does 'mage armor' last?

It's reasonable that he would if he paid attention to it, so yes, fine by me.

Ok so holding my attack for if a foe approaches, to attack it.

Not sure I understand for readied initiative, you gave me advantage on the skirges when we first came down on my initiative, but not sure if that was cause I was ready or used an action.

Im not sure that is a real thing lol so ill just roll initiative.

'Ready' stance gives Sue advantage on initiative.
So, initiative roll & statement of intent, please, plus any relevant dice roll(s).

Its from my private thread.

What would you folks think of the following?

If a character is proficient in Medicine and expends one use of a healer's kit then on a Medicine check DC20 a fallen/dying (unstablised) target can be restored to 1HP. (On a natural 20 this is 1HP+WIS bonus.)

Maybe the target character has to make a CON saving throw DC10 to get shake off the effects (disadvantage to all skill checks & attacks) of being down and on the way out..? (The character gets another save at the end of each of its turns).

Is the last part an added bit because of the hit point you are willing to add?

Would someone stabilized with a healers kit with the healer feat have the same disadvantages?

Does that happen to someone who gets a crit on a Death Saving roll? (When they get the 1hp to wake up.)

I don't think we need to add these extra things. If someone goes down, and they get stabilized then healed we should probably stick with that.

I think though you are trying to basically give us PC's back easier from being knocked down, which I can appreciate, but would rather stick with the rules on this area.

Would someone stabilized with a healers kit with the healer feat have the same disadvantages? No. RAW.

The draw back makes sense in the balancing of things.

I'm good with it if we go forward with it.
