Having moved 60' after firing his arrow, Linar glances back to estimate the distace between him and the nearest of the 3 orcs.

Boyd continues his charge, and will direct Salem toward the orc archers. His intention is to strike one with his lance and let Salem scatter the others as he passes through them.

Initiative: [1d10] = 9, To Hit: [1d20+5] = 6+5 = 11, Damage (lance): [1d6x2] = 4x2 = 8
(Damage roll gets a +3 for strength - couldn't figure out the syntax on Unseen Servant to multiply the roll and add to it - so the 8 is actually 11 damage. Probably doesn't matter, I think this is a miss, anyway.)

Edit - and there's another +1 to hit versus orcs due to being a sundered dwarf. woo hoo!
Probably still a miss.

Maybe a +2 for surprise or from behind if Boyd's lucky?

Initiative [1d10] = 5

Van will advance as needed and cast Charm Person on the healthiest looking Orc. Saying, in Orcish, "Oi! Tell your mates to stand down! Stab them if they don't!"

The heavily injured leader scrambles to his feet, crying out to the archers in their native language, Hunt down those little Elven twerps! I want them roasting over a fire NOW! Back along the road, Vanidur rushes forwards, robes held up as his nimble feet speed him towards the action. Catching sight of the group, he stops and begins to chant. Quickly he gathers the tendrils of magic and weaves them into a golden tone. Calling out in orcish, the Elf tries to persuade one of the assailants to stop his allies. For a brief moment, One of the archers pauses and turns; head tilted to one side as if he were considering the words.

Before he can act, however, the Ranger moves closer to the archers. The Minotaur positions himself behind three of them in an attempt to catch as many as possible for what he has in mind. In a deep rumbling voice, Garroth begins his quick spell. The charmed orc looks confused for a second. As the massive humanoid touches his thumbs together and spreads his fingers, a fan of flame sprays out, engulfing the beguiled creature and the two orcish archers next to him! The ensorcelled beast goes down in a heap, while the other two suffer severe burns.

The final archer, witnessing the attack, snatches up the axe at his side and buries it into the Minotaur’s flesh with a howl of rage! The blow leaves a wide, bleeding slash down the Ranger’s side. Meanwhile, Linar notes that the trio of axe-wielding orcs that have broken off from the camp have spotted him! The Drow quickly moves Westward through the woods, away from them. He pauses for a moment to fire back at the front-most of the three, but the arrow sails by ineffectually. The orcs charge after the elvish archer with guttural howls of bloodlust, but the Drow continues westward, keeping out of range for now.

Boyd steers Salem towards the archers and taps his heels into his steed’s sides. The well-trained mount charges expertly through the brush like only a wild-boar can. The dwarf lowers his lance and braces, but narrowly misses the injured bandit when it throws itself out of the way. Salem digs his hooves in and whirls about, ready to take another pass almost immediately. The orc recovers himself enough to take up his axe. Finding himself nearer the ranger who burned him, the bandit takes a wild swing at the larger humanoid. The axe lays a narrow slice onto the Minotaur’s leg, adding to the growing collection of injuries.

The final orc turns his focus on the newcomers. He slashes wildly at the mounted dwarf, managing a small cut across the warrior’s shoulder.

[The archers were near each other, but not in a straight line. Garroth caught as many as possible in the spray.
Boyd’s attempt to run down the archers would have been a solid plan, but they were in more of a loose cluster, and had been scattered by the Burning Hands spell first anyway.]

Linar continues to move away from the the orc trio, after 60' preferably aiming for a wounded orc or otherwise the clearest shot at either the one on the left or on the right, and then continuing to withdraw a further 60'.

Garroth pulls a pair of daggers... and tries to finish the Orcs near him..

New init roll if required.. Initiative (Daggers) [1d10+2] = 9+2 = 11

Natural fighting check.. Natural fighting [1d20] = 20 fails... no free natural weapon attacks in this combat.. daggers only..

Garroth will attack with daggers,

Dagger Attack [1d20+7] = 14+7 = 21 Hits
And
Dagger Attack [1d20+7] = 3+7 = 10 (Ac: 10 probably misses)

Damage to the one that hurt him: (O8 I think): Dagger damage [1d4+7] = 3+7 = 10

Van will think, "Well.... that could have gone better."

He'll rush ahead and bring his staff down on an Orc that looks hurt is about to hurt his friend.

Initiative [1d10] = 7

Staff attack:
Van with Staff [1d20-1] = 7-1 = 6

Oh boy... Assuming that doesn't hit, Van hopes to distract an orc long enough for someone to kill it. He will be very careful not to put himself between two orcs. He will also try to leave himself an escape.
Let's go Dex related AC!!!!

The enemy now being scattered, Boyd sees no benefit to charging like a tilting knight, and instead drops his lance to fight close-in, which will allow Salem to get in on the action.

-------------------------------

Initiative: [1d10] = 8, To Hit: [1d20+2] = 5+2 = 7, Damage (battle axe): [1d8+3] = 1+3 = 4
Fairly certain that Unseen Servant hates me.

Stik, US just hates dwarves XD. I recall Ari had the same trouble when he first started, lol.

We keep the same init roll through each round of combat for this game, but modifiers adjust round-to-round.

Sol, in order for Van to close the distance and attack this round a charge was necessary. Not sure what the -1 you had was for, but he missed anyway.
===

Garroth snatches out two of his daggers, driving the first into the skull of the first orc that wounded him; crushing it’s head completely! He stabs at his other assailant, narrowly missing the partly-burned orc. Van, seeing his friend in trouble, takes a tight grip on his staff and charges through the forest towards the melee! He swings with all of his might, but the staff sails wide of the mark.

Salem turns to attack Just as the badly injured leader of the orcs moves towards the mounted dwarf! Orc and Boar attack at once, each narrowly missing their targets; the orcish axe passing wide of Dwarven flesh the leader evades the porcine attack. Boyd returns the favor by slashing with his axe at the wounded leader, but the blade slices naught but air. Boyd’s previous target continues to attack, but he too fails to draw blood with his weapon.

Meanwhile, Linar continues his tactical withdrawl as the trio of orcs continue to rush him. Moving more easily through the trees, the Drow turns only long enough to fire a single arrow before taking off again. The shaft flies true, this time, taking one of the creatures in the throat and dropping him like a sack of grain.

[Actions R4]
====
A PC is down… again! Garroth is currently at -6 hps and will continue to lose 1 hp/round until healed or tended. As a reminder, stopping the bleeding only requires 1 round of attention from an ally and will keep him from losing any more hps. At -10 the character dies. Melee attacks against unconscious characters during normal combat are automatic hits.

Initiative R3:
Garroth (6+2 dagger): 8
Vanidur (5+4 spell): 9
O8: 9 (axe, hide armor)
Salem (9+3 natl attk): 12 [same base init with Boyd, diff modifier]

O2 (17-2 charged): 15 (axe, hide armor)
Boyd (9+7 axe): 16
O3: 16 (axe and shield, std leather)
O4: 17 (axe, hide armor)

Garroth draws his daggers and stabs at 08 (+4 species foe) with the dagger in his Right hand (+2 pierce vs hide ar)
Thac0 17 vs AC 6 (+6): Need base roll of 5+
Dagger Attack [1d20+7] = 14+7 = 21 Hit!

O8 Dies!

Garroth stabs at O2 with the dagger in his Left hand
Thac0 17 vs AC 6 (+6): Need base roll of 5+

Thac0 20 vs AC 6 (+2) Need 12+ to hit
Van with Staff [1d20-1] = 7-1 = 6

Thac0 19 vs AC 3: need 16+ to hit
O1 vs Boyd hit, dmg [1d20] = 2, [1d8] = 3, Miss! (badly)

Simultaneously Salem gores O1 with his tusks! (+2 piercing vs Hide ar)
Thac0 19 vs AC 6 (+2): Need 11+
Salem vs O1 hit, dmg [1d20] = 9, [2d3] = 5, Miss!

Linar moves 60 feet west, away from the orcs approaching him.
Linar pauses to fire his longbow at O7 (-1, piercing vs studded leather) (opponents +1 charging)
Thac0: 19 vs AC 6: need 13+
[1d20] = 16, hit!
For [1d8] = 5 damage!

OOC: -1 would be for Pathfinder 9 Str-> wrong system! Sorry!

Van will rinse and repeat the staff attack. "Garroth!! Where is that Drow?! All his posturing of bravery and I'm trading blows with this filth!! ... Yes! Orc! I'm talking about YOU!!"

Van will then notice Garroth down and redouble his effort to end this.

Attack w/ staff: [1d20] = 12, [1d6] = 3

*CRACK!!*
