Re: Warhammer: Age of Sigmar

The only thing I know about Warhammer is the PbPs I lurk over at Unseen Servant. I think we have a 1E game going and a 4E game just starting up. I don't think either of them are Age of SIgmar though. Is that the newest iteration? Age of Sigmar is the current iteration of the tabletop game. It's qui...

Re: Warhammer: Age of Sigmar

I haven't played Age of Sigmar. I previously played Warhammer Fantasy and 40K, and they are fun games. However, I've all but given up on them (or at least on WH Fantasy) since they discontinued it to shift to Age of Sigmar.

Re: Need advice from 5e enthusiasts

I would also suggest Phandelver. However if you're looking for something longer (ie one of the campaign books), I'd say to steer clear of Hoard of the Dragon Queen. It is not well written. I haven't played the other campaign books, but I know a lot of people who enjoyed Curse of Strahd and Storm Kin...

I think the site has limited bandwidth and seems to be down on occasion. You could also try the main page:

Re: Think of the poor PCs!

I'm trying to arrange an interview on FOX news to talk about school shootings when these little snot nosed punks are on talking about banning guns, because I want to hit them with the fact that over 4,000 teens die every year from texting while driving, and so I want to ban their cell phones! :twis...

Re: Dragon Magazine in .pdf format

Awesome! I'll never read em, but I'm a PDF horder. I think that completes my list of every know D&D source now... lol Haha, yeah I'm the same. I think that applies to most of my hard copies as well. I just trawl ebay for whenever things come up (there's much less available here in Aus than in t...

Re: (OT) General rants

So far off topic, but hey... it's the general chat area I ended up doing a lot of research on it (admittedly for America only) and discovered that all the major outbreaks of illness in America in the past 90 years (actually from 1927 to 2006) has been from pasteurized milk. Illness from raw milk - a...

Re: GHHAA> Gaming group broke up..

If you're ever looking for a group, I've found the site http://www.meetup.com to be really useful. I found several gaming groups in my area, and have had no issue finding sufficient players (in fact, more the opposite of having to reject people because it was getting too many). It's worth checking o...

Re: So, what can YOU do?

OK, here's my post-apocalypse resume: - I have substantial first aid training through volunteer work with a couple different emergency services organisations (including training others). While I wouldn't put myself at the same level as a paramedic (or similar), most of what they do that I can't invo...

G'day everyone!

Hi all! I've been playing RPGs since about 1999. I started with 2nd ed and largely because of that (and some of the great games I had in that ed) it's kinda stuck with me as my preferred system. We moved on to 3rd and 3.5 when it came out and had quite a few games, including the one longest running ...
